I can never say enough wonderful things about this doctor. She does tend to run behind but that is because the demand for her is so high and I know a lot of parents try to bend her ear about siblings of her patient and of course they ave tons of questions, as parents do. She is simply AMAZING with my 12 year old son. He feels completely at ease and she talks to him like he is an adolescent who understands her, not like a baby and not like he is autistic with other special needs. Yes, she makes sure she is clear but he doesn't feel spoken down to. She is extremely knowlegeabe and thorough... sometimes TOO thorough, if that is possible when it comes to your kid. I'd prefer that over negligent. She also listens to me and she and her staff are always there to advocate on behalf of Desmond to ensure he gets all the services he needs. My only real complaint about Dr. Salm? She doesn't treat GROWN UPS. =)
