Dr. Pearlman Is a Great Doc. He was very thorough with my case and took all the extra steps for me to get the treatment i needed for my rare case. I felt like he devoted a lot of time to care and his staff was excellent in helping me get in when I needed to. I highly recommend Dr. Pearlman >

Dr. Pearlman is on of the worst doctors I have ever dealt with. I waited 3 months to see him. When I did see him he did not seem to care about my medical issues at all. He saw me a total of 10 minutes, was not able to give me a diagnosis, and the charge for the visit was $442.00. I was diagnosed with migraine headaches by the next physician I saw with no problem . Please do not waste your time seeing this doctor. I have never been more disappointed with a doctor .

Dr.Pearlman has moved 3 times while I have been seeing him. They don't send me out a notice I just had to find him. After a MRI I has an issue he didn't treat. So he just pushed me off to a pain clinic said I would not be able to work again when I asked but never mentioned that issue again which hurt me on getting disability. I would talk to him about the issue but because there was nothing to be done but treat the pain he never made another note in my file about it. He is a nice Dr.but doesn't seem to hear what you are saying.

I have been seeing Dr. Pearlman for almost 2 years. He is kind and does listen to your issues, and does his best to address them. However, he can be a bit condescending and appear to have a bit of a superiority complex, assuming the patient knows little about their condition and/or medications. (He reminds me a bit of Ben Stein.) But that hasn't stopped me from seeing him, as he and his staff are always friendly and accommodating. The wait time is almost nonexistent, always less than 10 minutes, if that. I would recommend him.

I would like to confirm comments of small waiting room - no waits, friendly helpful staff, and same day response to telephone calls. Dr. Pearlman does listen patiently, has a plan for treatment, and explains his treatment. Although, I have only had one visit I do plan to continue my care with Dr. Perlman. I am pleased with my experience.

Just a note to those of us who are in the unfortunate situation of being without health insurance and see the previous rater's comment about Dr. Pearlman being easy to get along with if you're potentially in a situation like mine: He won't even see you if you don't have insurance. I can understand that policy, and don't want it to reflect badly on him, hence my 5-star rating. Just wanted other patients to be aware of it, despite what the previous rater said. Good luck!

Dr. Pearlman is the most friendly, understanding, and patient doctor at BMC! Also, Dr. Pearlman is very considerate and understanding with issues about medications on a budget.
