Nurse, Donna, works very hard NOT to help. You have to go through her to get something from Dr. Mendolla. She provides lots of excuses, to do nothing. To my knowledge, she never even consulted the Doctor about my medication concerns. Evidently, I have to go to another Doctor for answers about Cardiology medication. #Useless!!!

Dr. Mendolla is my go-to cardiologist. He is very efficient and knowledgeable about everything “heart.” He takes plenty of time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I may have. And, most importantly, he has been spot-on correct with each of his diagnosis! AND he is assisted by a most efficient and personable office staff!

Dr. Mendolla's beside manner is basically non existent. Was referred to him by primary. My first visit took about 45 seconds, he ordered a 30 day heart monitor, Idk why this couldn't have been done before my visit, since nothing was done by him at the first visit. Waited 30+ days to get results, only to have him stay in the room maybe a total of 2 minutes to tell me my condition is benign. No explanations. Did not want to answer questions tried to walk right out. I wanted to know more about my condition even though it was benign. He seemed completely bothered by the fact that I had questions. Then asked me to see him again in 6 months for my benign condition he didn't want to explain to me in the first place. These 2 visits (total of 2.5 minutes of his time) Cost me $900.00 out of pocket plus the heart monitoring through a 3rd party. Very much a conveyor belt feeling in the office. On a side note the office staff is pleasant, but I would never recommend him as a DR.

Went to Dr Mendola's office for the first time today. The staff could not have been nicer and the office is very efficient because I was called back quickly. As far as Dr Mendola, he's one of the nicest doctors I have ever been to. He was gracious and took time with me to answer all my questions. I wish all doctors and their staff were like these people!

Don't trust Dr. Medolla. Didn't take time to explain anything, did not look me in the eye, did not shake my hand in or out and when he left, he did not even say goodbye. I thought he was coming back. Was at the office for a total of 3.5 hours waiting for everything! After a stress test that did not show blockage, Dr. Mendolla still wanted to do a catheterization, which can kill you. The stress test is show to be more reliable. Sounds like Dr. Mendolla wants to make money at my expense.

Dr Mendolla is a great cardiologist! He always takes time to sit with my daughter and explain exactly what is happening and why. Great with kids!

Dr. Mendolla is one of the finest doctors who has taken care of my heart. He spends all the time I need with me and explains my condition to my satisfaction.

I needed a stress test in a hurry and and staff did not seem to care, call made about 11-1-07. Answer was simply that doctor had no opening until February of 2008 and that was it. No help offered at all.

nothing against dr. but staff, i work for omni, dr mendollas staff is rude and when my practice referred over a patient, the ma admittd to throwing away referral and calls the day of pts appt to ask for another one. they do this everyday.
