Dr. Lee and his entire staff are nothing short of miraculous. He is very literal in explanations, clear and precise. The cardio staff at St Bonnafice Hospital in Winnipeg, could be the "poster people" defining a well oiled machine. They are an amazing Team of Professionals. My surgery went without any hitches. This guy is top notch and I believe one of the best Surgeons on the planet.I cannot recommend him enough, I was in for a double bypass with very minimal scars, and released 5 days later. I cannot express my sincere gratitude enough.

He was amazing. Plain and simple. Being 25 years old and having open heart surgery with a 7 month old baby was not planned or expected. I found out out a year ago that I had a heart defect since birth that could only be corrected by surgery within the next year. I had my surgery booked a month after my initial appointment and I have just finished my recovery! Dr. Lee not only answered all of my questions (the same ones umerous times) but he made me feel SOOO comfortable. I had made a request to have my incision site as small as possible. All I can say is that he is an artist. A 5 inch scar is flat out amazing he stitched me up beautifully. He came back the next day to see how my progress was and to tell me personally that my surgery was successful. I have him to thank for prolonging my life and for making an awful situation not even bad at all. Oh and a BEAUTIFUL scar (if that's possible!!).

I had a triple by pass awhile back. Dr Lee was the best you could ask for. He did a small incision on my leg to remove the vein which was very much appreciated. He took time to explain the procedure. He is a very caring person. Highly recommended if you need a cardiac surgeon

God Bless this Doctor. My Mom had Cardiac Surgery 2 days ago and he was her Surgeon. He was so approachable and he answered all of our questions right after her Surgery. He is a very compassionate and helpful person who truly cares for his patients. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Lee. He is the best of the best and we are so Lucky to have him in Winnipeg. God Bless him and his family that with his expertise in Cardiac Surgery he has saved so many lives. He is truly an Angel. He has given life back to my MOM.

I had surgery from DR lee involving a very complicated Bental procedure. He is amazing, i have nothing but good things to say about this surgeon. He's so helpful and honest and straight forward, my wife and i were so satisfied that i dont think there's another surgeon that compares with him. he always took time to answer questions and a complicated surgery that was to take up to 8 hours ended up done in 4! Thanks to him I as well can spend another christmas with my wife.

Dr. John Lee went the extra mile to help me. I was to see him for possible bypass surgery. Several weeks prior to my appointment, I had difficulties with my heart that landed me in emergency. Dr. Lee had to perform emergency triple bypass surgery to keep me alive. From what I've been told, Dr. Lee will take on special, complicated cases that other heart surgeons will not. I was one of them since the blockage in my heart was extreme and difficult to get at. I thank him and the sacrifice his family made for me, and my family, because I understand he made the effort to do the surgery on his day off. He was able to pull a team of the best support staff together in short notice. Dr. John Lee is a top heart surgeon and a very fine person. He really really cares. I hope he doesn't leave Winnipeg. I am going to be able to have a great Christmas with my family this year in part to Dr. John Lee. ...and hopefully many more. I believe you are in good hands if Dr. Lee is your surgeon.
