I had gone to him for over 10yrs controlling my back; finally was time for surgery. I really like him and his staff - they are very honest with what will be after surgery, and what you need to do and not do. You call and either they answer then or call back the next day-that doesn't happen very often with other Drs. I had a fusion from the T11 to the L5 into the ilium.. I am pain free and feeling like it is my back again after 6 months. The recovery is long; but they told me that it would be. I really like the honestly they give you.

There is no post operative care. This is mill environment. I do not recommend this surgeon.

I found Dr. Buchowski to be very helpful in explaining my problem and what he could do to correct it. I was unable to walk without crying. I have 2 steel rods, 18 screws, 8 fused vertebrae and I am pain free now. I am still healing after 11 months so my back gets tired after a long day but I have to remember that I am 71 yrs old next month. We don't heal as fast as we did when we were kids. All in all, I am doing great. Thank you Jacob.

Dr.Buchowski was a blessing. After suffering with back and leg pain for several years, he diagnosed me with degenerative scoliosis and corrected it with surgery. The surgery went great and I'm pain free. Dr. Buchowski patiently answered all of my questions and was very thoughtful with my family. His office staff is great and very professional. I have recommended him to my friends and co-workers who have back problems/

Very talented surgeon with an organized and caring staff. I am thrilled with my recovery after having a lumbar spinal fusion. Dr. Buchowski was honest and responsible. I never felt pushed into surgery and he did not over perscribe pain medication. I have been to other Dr's that were happy to push medications to mask the problem. Dr. Buschowski diagnosed and corrected my problem. Having spianl surgery at age 33 was a tough decision, but he and the staff spent time talking with me and answering all my questions. I would go back to him tomorrow if I had to-NO regrets!!

The surgery went very well, but afterwards he was not help full on my disability papers. It caused me to have to see an insurance doctor. Now he will not release me so I could use another doctor at my hospital. So I am forced to go to another doctor.

Dr. Buchowski gave me my life back. I was to the point I could no longer walk without great pain and meds didn't really help. I wanted a solution to my problems, not just something to cover up the symptoms which is what meds would do. After a fusion and treatment of spinal stenosis, I can now walk and no longer have the horrible pain I was having. My son is a chiropractor and he was very impressed with Dr. Buchowski. I find Dr. Buchowski somewhat reserved in his manner but also very caring. I don't need to be entertained by my dr., just cared for and treated. I have recommended Dr. Buchowski to several people and all have been very satisfied with his diagnoses and treatment.

The doctor knew what he was talking about. He was able to diagnose the problem when other couldn't, and the surgery I had relieved the majority of symptoms. Staff was very helpful.
