Had to comment on the negative comments from previous people: Dr Derosa does care about making money (who doesn't?) I have heard he is doing some big dollar morally questionable procedures that personally disappoint me, but that is his business. The only way it has affected me is that it leaves less time for him to help me with issues now that I am menopausal. As to date night with his wife, I think that any husband who schedules date night is going to be better at his job and since his job calls for a full career of delivering babies at all hours of the night/day, he deserves to take time to keep his marriage (to a very lovely woman) healthy with "date night". Positives: nurse, Shelley is the best thing that has happened to his practice over the 20+ years I have known him. I do believe he is a patient advocate and cares about doing the best job he can. You do have to ask him questions and collaborate (not expect him to just educate you based on your stage in life) to get best care.
