Dr. Legris is great. I travel pretty far just to see him.

I saw Dr. Marc LeGris at the Norwalk Hospital Immediate Care/Walk-In Clinic at 38 East Avenue in New Canaan. I had my first appointment with him in July, 2014.
While in his waiting room, another patient mentioned to me that she traveled 90 minutes to see him because she liked him so much. This was good news for me to hear.
I'm the type of person who has "white coat syndrome" and I never cared for any doctor I met over the past 40+ years.
I was greatly surprised and much relieved when I met Dr. LeGris. I found him to be friendly, professional, warm, respectful, a great listener with an excellent bedside manner, a wonderful decent human being. He is the doctor I never had when I was growing up and, believe me, I met dozens of doctors in my lifetime.
Upon meeting him, I immediately sensed that he is a doctor whom I could trust. I could understand why his patients travel long distances to see him. He is amazing so I made him my primary care physician. Very, very happy I found him!!!
Staff is friendly. Office and waiting area are comfortable. Ample parking (which is tough to find in New Canaan)
Convenient office hours: Monday through Friday from 9 to 7, Saturday from 10 to 4, and Sunday, from 10 to 2. 203-594-9520 but call first to find out when Dr. LeGris is at this location.

+Easy to get an appointment. +Friendly staff. +Nice office. -Performed more procedures than were medically necessary. -Ordered more tests than necessary leaving me with a huge lab bill.

Dr. Legris was the best Dr. my husband and I ever had. I'm having issues finding a Dr. just like him or even close. This sucks.

Dr. Legris is an amazing doctor who never rushes you out of his office. There may be a wait time in the waiting room because he does take as much time as needed with his patients. This is a small price to pay for a doctor who really cares about his patients. He is extremely knowlegeable and has diagnosed conditions that other doctors have missed.

Very helpful. Was able to see me w/o an appt immediately to prescribe me new meds when I had bad side FX. Explained every detail of what he was doing and made sure I understood my condition and treatment. Great GREAT doctor.

The doctor shrugged off my syptoms and dismissed problem as psychosomatic. Upon a second opinion the problem (sinus infection) was taken care of immediately. Never returned. Found him to be unprofessional in discussion of other patients' private information.

Dr Legris, as I understand,has retired from his practice. Truely a sad loss to his patients. I am hopefull that I will one day find another as caring and competant as he, but I have my doubts I'll be so lucky. I was a patient of his for more than 15 years and never doubted for a moment that I was being cared for in the best possible manner

Dr. Legris is knowledgeable and empathic. I've moved around and had a number of physicians. Dr. Legris is a favorite.
