I recently was a cosmetic patient at the Toronto Dermatology Center. The clinic is beautiful, well organized and staffed with friendly and helpful people. I saw Dr. Freiman for Botox of my “elevens” in my forehead. I have seen many other people in Toronto for injectables and I was greatly impressed by Dr. Freiman’s knowledge, bed-side manner and skill level. He listened to my concerns and produced the exact look that I wanted. I am beyond happy with the results and I highly recommend seeing Dr. Freiman as a cosmetic dermatologist.

I cannot say enough incredible things about Dr. Anatoli Freiman and the amazing care we received from him. I came to him with my two young children and from the moment we met with him thru the entire treatment process he exemplified professionalism, kindness, patience and incredible medical care. I was so grateful that he always understood how we felt and what we needed. We arrived very scared and worried and he turned a situation that was scary for myself and my kids into one where we felt very comfortable and cared for and knew exactly what to expect going forward. He is incredibly knowledgeable, has excellent manner with children, explained everything clearly and patiently to us, and always took the time to answer all of my questions (there were many!) and address all of my concerns and worries. His treatment plan was incredibly effective and we are so grateful to have been under his care. I highly recommend Dr. Freiman and I have now asked my family doctor to refer me to him for my dermatological concerns after my kids received such exemplary care and treatment from him.

My family doctor thought it would be a good idea to start having yearly skin checks as I have many freckles, moles and sun spots. I saw Dr Freiman and found him to be kind and personable. He was very thorough and explained what many of my brown spots were and explained what to look for when checking for moles. I am very happy with my experience at the Toronto Dermatology Centre and will continue seeing Dr. Freiman yearly for skin checks.

He is a wonderful doctor with a lovely personality that immediately made me feel comfortable.
He identified my precancerous growth immediately and then proceeded to treat it in his office to ensure it would no longer be an issue. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great dermatologist whose knowledge is second to none.

I am a health professional myself, so I have some idea of how patients should be treated. The first time I saw Dr. Freiman was for a consult about an area of actinic keratosis on my cheek. At one point he told me to close my eyes and blasted my face with liquid nitrogen. No warning, no asking for permission. When I blasted him for it, he said that he needed to address it. When I told him I wamted to have the procedure done in a few weeks when I would be on vacation, he simply shrigged and walked out of the room. When I reluctantly returned a couple of years later to address a large nevus on my back and a cyst in my neck, he said he could take off the mole but I needed a plastic surgeon for the cyst. I said that I would make an appointment with a surgeon fot both. He then said that he could do it. $150 for the nevus and $350 for the cyst. Go out and pay and wait for us to call you in. Thirty minutes later he brought me into a treatment room and placed the anesthetic. He cut off the nevus in a second with a laser. He then spent a half hour digging around the cyst. When I queried whatvwas happening, he said he was having some difficulty. He handed me the biopsy tubes and asked me to take them to the receptionist. He said don't take off the bandages for 10 days. The buopsy of the cyst was a tny sliver of tissue. Odd?? Well both lesions were gone when the dressings wee removed. However a month later the cyst was back. All he had done was open it up and drained the fluid. It cost me another $450 to have a surgeon remove it properly later that year.

I've seen Dr Freiman a few times and I honestly hate it. He smiles and is friendly, but he's always in a huge rush and barely answers any of my questions before leaving the room. I had to get a referral to another dermatologist so I could sit and ask questions without their having one foot out the door.
