Dr. Chapple is wonderful. We could ask for a better paediatrician for our children and feel very lucky to have her as our doctor. She is very diligent, compassionate and doesn't rush you out.

Thorough in action and straightforward in demeanour. She does to take chances and is quick to refer if she does not feel that available services are adequate. Her immediate action in what could have been a tragic situation not only saved our baby, it also averted brain damage which was a very real possibility.

We ended up in Dr.Chapples office by means of a referral from a walk in clinic. Out initial appointment was thorough and lengthy. At no point did I feel rushed or made to feel that anything I had to say was inconsequential or trivial and I found it reassuring that Dr. C not only listened to my concerns, but really took the time to dig deep into all areas of my child's development. I am a foster parent, and I have dealt with many paediatricians and professionals over the years. Far too often I find that a Dr, has their own ideas and makes a quick diagnosis or dismissal based on an opinion that's been formed simply by reading the referral. Many seem to be able or want to make the symptoms fit the diagnosis rather than the other way around. I see another poster made a comment about Dr.C reading out of a medical book, and she found it to be concerning. Really? I too, am a professional, and I often have to pull up relevant information out of manuals and off the internet as I am dealing with an issue in front of me. I don't consider that a weakness, I consider it as ongoing education, awareness and staying current in my field. Given the vast amounts of medical knowledge available, especially related to pediatrics, what Dr could know every symptom, diagnosis, cause, treatment, recommended medication and correct dosing off the top of their heads ? I'd be leery of one who didn't check facts, but perhaps that's just me. In any case, I found Dr, C to be professional, experienced, accurate and above all extremely respectful to myself and my son. I would, (and have done so several times), highly recommend her and her practice to anyone looking for a pediatrician.

My son had seen 2 other doctors without diagnosis and I had been told it was our parenting that needed to be changed, so we did so with no result. In the end we asked to see another ped and found some underlying issues that when addressed with behavioral therapy (her idea) and later medication (agreed between the both of us and his behavioral consultant) we were able to stabalize our son. She is very thourough and professional. No she is not a sugar coat and beat around the bush lovey dovey doctor but I dont want that in a doctor, she is there to provide a service and she does just taht :)

I still am seeking results and have not heard word. This Dr.Chapple seemed confused and lost with her findings. This gave me an untrusting feeling with her

I think Dr. Chapple is wonderful. I saw two other doctors who kept telling me my baby had colic. I just knew it wasn’t.When I finally got a referral to see Dr. Chapple she did a thorough examination and told me it was Pediatric GERD. She said it would take 1-2 weeks for the medication to start working. At about 10 days my baby started feeling better and wasn't screaming in pain anymore. Now she is happy and smiling and only cries for food. She saved my sanity and put my baby at ease. Thanks, Dr. Chapple! I wish other could see you for the wonderful doctor you are.

This doctor insisted my infant was gaining weight too fast and that breastfeeding sessions be limited and my infant be left in the interims to scream (ie. did not believe in feeding on cue). My baby had issues that were missed in the application of this school of thought. I was very sad and frustrated by this. I would have preferred we explore together, "What is happening for this baby and why?" and then resolved that. I moved on to another doctor.

Was reading out of a medical book on first visit regarding my daughter's thyroid condition. Unprofessional insinuations made by this doctor. Would not recommend.
