Easy to talk to, does an awesome job of removing skin cancers, and, always answers my questions, Besides, He has a very efficient staff! I've seen seeing him now for several years, and, am still happy! Best Dermatologist in Edmonton, in my opinion!

I saw Dr. Taher regarding a mole on my arm that my family doctor (Dr. Jon Hilner) recognized as Threatening. It was a melanoma and Dr. Taher removed it, skillfully and completely. Today he confirmed in my follow-up visit 8 months later this that the cancer is gone and the incision has healed well. I am 71 years old and have needed other surgeons in my life, but none have been like Dr. Taher. He is skillful, friendly and still professional, knowledgeable and inspires confidence, I have many keratoses and he told me that they are “innocent “, which is comforting. I strongly recommend Dr. Taher to anyone who needs a cancer surgeon who will relate to them as a human being and not simply like “another case”.

I sought Dr. Taher out on this website after repeatedly visiting another local dermatologist that did nothing about my husband's skin issue. My husband had a spot on his shoulder, diagnosed by our GP in 2019 as superficial basil cell carcinoma. First of all, the attentiveness by Dr. Taher's staff (in particular Sylvia) was amazing. I got a reply in only a day to my email, a follow up telephone call and an appointment within a couple months. Very impressive. My husband and I both attended the appointment together as I had been the one to seek out Dr. Taher and we were also both going for an all over body/mole check. Upon arrival, the clinic is very clean and reception friendly and helpful. Into the office we went (and yes, even through Covid they granted us the ability to go in together - this was probably due to my email I had sent requesting that specifically for this situation). The nurses were great, helpful, friendly, respectful and just all around nice people. Dr. Taher arrived and immediately I was impressed. He greeted us and then said to me directly "I understand that you are here for Mohs surgery for your husband as I read in your email". Um, wait, you actually READ my email? This guy is legit and impressive. He immediately agreed that Mohs surgery was the definite way to proceed (a sigh of relief from both me and my husband - back story: we repeatedly asked the other dermatologist for this surgery and were told that "they wouldn't even do Mohs surgery on this type of cancer" -- well obviously that was false information). Dr. Taher's bedside manner is commendable. He spoke to us and did not leave until all of our questions were answered. A true and wonderful man. I was also pleased to meet Sylvia whom I had only dealt with through email. She is his nurse and she is fantastic, caring and thorough. I would very highly recommend Dr. Taher and crew to anyone needing this type of service or anything related to skin or skin cancers. Happy to report my husband's issue is gone!!! He has the scar as a means to tell his story and that's it. Thank you to Dr. Taher and nurses for all your help, wisdom and genuine care for my husband. I think the lesson I've learned in all of this is that we all have to be responsible for our own health and if you are not happy (or your 'gut' isn't happy) about what you are told, then work hard to seek out the professionals that we have access to in order to get your issue resolved to a place that you are happy. We have choices, we should use them; our health is top priority.

I took my dad to see Dr. Muba Taher about persistent skin problems that were causing him unnecessary discomfort. Dr. Taher was kind and efficient. He provided remedies that solved most of dad's symptoms.
He is very professional and yet very humble.
I appreciated his patience with my dad.
I recommend this dermatologist highly.

Dr Taher is top rated in my opinion. My melanoma diagnosis took 1 week from my biopsy and then Dr Taher performed the surgery 1 week after diagnosis on his day off. He also made sure to see me one week after surgery on his day off before leaving for Christmas holidays to see how I fared with the surgery. It was only 2 weeks from my first visit with Dr Taher until my diagnosis and surgery. He has never ever mentioned cosmetic procedures and focuses on what matter to him most, healing and saving lives. His cancer patients are considered patients for life and do not need to go through another family Dr to get an appointment. You have direct access to bookings. I recommend him to anyone that is looking for a Dermatologist that truly cares for his patients.

All he cares about is making the most money he can. Barely talks to the patient for like 5 seconds and doesn’t even remember or care to look up what medication he prescribed earlier.

Couldn’t have asked for someone better.
Super punctual. Helpful. Friendly. Knew exactly what was happening with my 2month old infant daughter. promptly acknowledged the issue, gave a medication, and taught me exactly how to use it and how to manage the condition once things cleared up. Couldn’t have asked for more

Dr. Taher has a very calm, kind demeanour & explains all procedures extremely well,; step but step. His staff are friendly & always helpful. My experience at Dr. Taher’s office has been excellent.
