Very good doctor. I went to three doctors before him and none of them even wanted to entertain that i had an issue. Doctor Nick was the first doctor that took me seriously and it resulted in me going in for surgery within 3 months after waiting over a year. Very patient kind and he listens. Highly recomended.

This doctor was more interested in chatting to keep me in there longer and charge me more than actually getting to the route of the problem! Very keen to dispense medication at the drop of a hat, not even asking whether I was on anything to begin with. I got the feeling after I challenged one of his comments, that he was more interested in heading out the door and getting rid of me than acknowledging I had a right to question his diagnosis. If you're just interested in a chat and some cold medication, sure he's great, but if you want a more thorough and caring follow up, go to one of the other doctors.

I am amazed at the amount of knowledge this Doctor possess, and not to mention his high caring personality. His time is not rushed and he listens to your concerns, which I find most Doctors don't do these days. I highly recommend his services.

Dr Nick Bashir-Elahi from Toowong medical centre got me into the hospital for Gastric Lapband surgery at NIL cost to me; except time and Diet food I had to start 14 days out from surgery. The staff are always helpful and they sometimes have room for bulk-billing patients. I have had a few doctors but ONLY Nick could speak to me in a manner that was'nt at all superior, like a lot of quacks I've been too.

This Doctor allowed his opinion of me to be influenced by the predjudiced opinion of another Doctor at the same practice. What he should have done was make his own judgement, based on getting to know me as his patient and realizing that not all Doctors get it right so it is necessary to get to know your patient for yourself and then come to your own conclusions about the patients based on your own interactions with the patient. I was insulted that I was not given the opportunity to make myself known to this Doctor and be given a fresh approach. What ever happened to the second opinion priveledge?
