Ratings for Dr. Chuck Maxner
Makes up facts if he doesn’t know something well. It’s my life you are dealing with here….

He’s a good doc, but wish there was more he could do to help. perhaps more tests and research for rare illnesses.

Not much of a neurologist than an ophthalmologist.

If it wasn't for Dr. Manner , I wouldn't want to know where I would be today. He treated me back in 2004 with what is considered a possible fatal neurology issue , I have come through it and only praise and thanks to him and all of the others involved in my health rebounding.

Only looks at surface things, doesn’t actually try to resolve the root issue in any capacity. Doesn’t seem to know much...

This excuse for a doctor collides with his colleagues over mistakes they all make and then try and tell you it’s all in your mind . File a complaint against this doctor if you have experienced such conduct and together we can change the way they treat patients .

He has the worst bed side manner. Thinks be knows a lot but doesn’t. Too big of an ego like most doctors. Doesn’t consider unique cases, doesn’t do much testing either. If you get worse he treats you like it is your fault. Terrible terrible doctor. Stay away if you care about your brain.

This doctor is fabulous. When all the usual tests turned up nothing, he kept digging.

This poor excuse for a doctor thinks he’s above knowledgeable patients who present to him objective medical and clinical presentation to support their symptoms yet refuses to accept the obvious because he wasn’t the one who made the correct diagnosis . In the process of submitting a complaint to the College of Physicians and Surgeons against him for misconduct and failure to offer care expected of a physician . I encourage others who has experienced mistreatment from this egotistical doctor to do the same .

Now that he’s retiring, I’ll leave him a review. Dr. Maxner was good as long as things were going well. As soon as it started to get complex and indication of any invasive intervention was required or up in the air as more treatment options failed, he gaslighted me. He made false claims about the literature and facts to gaslight me.
