Horrific. She not only insisted upon bringing third parties into the agreement (to get more sessions? more money?), but revealed confidential information about another patient she was seeing during my appointment. Will do FAR more harm than good. Run far, run fast.

Dr Mellor-Crummey is wonderful - she has been helping my daughter and I for three years now work through the issues of divorce. She's very knowledgeable about the law and is willing to help in any way she can. I would recommend her to everyone I know!!! I really like her a LOT!!!!

Dr. Mellor-Crummey is an outstanding doctor. She is upfront and honest about her methods of practice AND the estimated costs for her services. It was clear to me that her primary concern was for the child, not for the desire of the parents. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a difficult and possibly harmful (to the child[ren] custody battle. The negative remarks from others on this site about Dr. Mellor-Crummey are certainly untrue judging from my personal experience. I know because my ex made one of them. She abandoned our child and made NO attempt to re-establish custody until the court ordered her pay child support. She consistently tries to play the victim and point her finger at everyone else (including Dr Mellor-Crummey)in blame instead of owning up to what she did to her child. She is a master of manipulation and lies, but she can no longer manipulate me or my daughter, and thankfully was not successful at manipulating Dr. Mellor-Crummey.

Amazing Woman. She has changed my life with her time and care. I don't know where I would be without her. I can certainly say she has saved my life. When there was no one else to trust.. I could trust her. When there was no one else who understood.. she did. She is a lovely woman with a good heart and because of her.. I am now living a well and functional life. I owe her so much , but I know our friendship we share is will always be enough. Dr Crummey's practice in therapy is top notch and I would very highly recommend her. She certainly knows what she is doing and will do her best to help you and your family with the utmost kindness and care.

We also had an estimate of approximately $3,000.00 and after almost 3 years we still have not "brought it to a close." The problem was not with the Dr. but with my ex. Not following the rules. Not complying with the court, not.....None of this had anything to do with the Dr. As a matter of fact I don't remember the Dr. holding a gun to my head when I married my ex, and I do remember giving my ex the option (for the second time) of who we would be using considering the court rarely only gives the attorneys on therapist to use. At teh end of the day my child was kept safe from the possible abuse and pyschological damage which likely would have happend had the Dr. not been there to guide the situation, not to mention keeping the child from being abducted for a second time. Was it worth it? EVERY PENNY! Does she know what she is doing? YES! Would I pick someone else? No! In todays world the only problem we have is there are not enough Dr. Mellor Crummeys around. Oh,by the way I am Father

This woman is a piece of work. She see custody evaluation as a blank check. She will tell you the evaluation will cost 5K. Once you pay her she changes her mind and wants another 5K. I think she runs her practice based upon mob tactics. In the mean time there are real children getting damaged. Someone should take her children away and make her get evaluated for 3 years by a man who hates women.

Dr. Mellor-Crummey has waisted nearly 3 years of my time. She has put a wedge between my daughter and me. When we started this psych. eval. my daughter was 9 and now she is 12. She gave me an estimate of $3000 and a time frame of 6-8 months. My hopes of her return have been shattered. And all Dr. Mellor-Crummey wants is another $3000. I still have a credit with her, but she refuses to work on my case. She also makes up stories of me not cooperating with her therapist friend, and says she has two other cases before mine...after all this time. I am heartbroken and would love it if someone from the judicial system would care about what is actually happening with my girl. And I would love it if Dr. Cynthia Mellor-Crummey were taken off my case, and any other custody psych. evals. I do believe she is a fraud and should feel what it is like to have all she loves taken from her. She is clearly not qualified to hold the destiny of broken homes in her hands.

Court appointed, not really helpful. Seemed to make judgments off of one side and biased to women. Came highly recommended from the judge with a high “success rate”. She doesn't have a problem with the patient compromising on what is right or wrong in the guise of working together, must giver her a high success rate. Head is in lala land and is very PROUD of her degree. Is part of the custody machine that is hurting our children but does not like to be called on it.

I felt she was very personable and understanding. Helped me and my family through some hard times and never tried to send me off to some psychiatrist for meds. I always felt like she was being honest/herself with me. No cold, uncaring, just another number vibe from her.

I would avoid this person for help. She accepts cases from the courts and is supposed to help families in trouble. She completely failed in our case. Can you believe she shares the same office with divorce lawyers. Doesn't pass the smell test for me.
