Unprofessional, had sexual scene on the tv (soap opera) showing in her waiting room. Totally taken in with being manipulated in a divorce situation, taking the side of the husband. Not hearing the children. Awful experience.

Dr Mellor Crummey is phenomenal. I have gone through several life altering experiences that affected my children. She never has forgotten that the children are the primary focus and her need to guide them through life events. She may not tell you what you want to hear, but what you NEED to hear. She is compassionate , fair, and goes above and beyond to support children and the families. I have had emergencies and she was immediately available. My children are better off for the care she has given. She truly cares for her patients. I am blessed to have her in my life.

READ THIS before going to Dr. Mellor-Crummey: in a nutshell, she is very professional, knowledgeable, caring and giving. From my own personal experience, I can absolutely refute at least one negative review on this site, the one that my ex wrote. It is only fair that you hear the other side of the story. Dr. Mellor-Crummey was always honest, open and clear on who her client was: our child. She never took sides; in fact I was called out more than one occasion, so there was no bias by gender or money. She will be straight and tell you when you are wrong, so if you are not willing to hear it, then it is your problem, not hers! Yes, she runs her practice alone, and yes, in general the appointments will not start on time but if you knew how many things a therapist has to juggle in between and after appointments, you would understand. PLUS when it is needed she will go over the allotted time to resolve issues and ultimately help YOU; she will also take extra time to answer phone calls, read and respond emails or other communications between parties. Please be aware that the negative review my ex wrote fails to mention that we had to terminate services with Dr. Mellor-Crummey due to my ex’s inappropriate behavior, not Dr. Mellor-Crummey’s. I DO RECOMMEND DR MELLOR-CRUMMEY. If you are reading the bad reviews PLEASE do read the good ones as well to get a full perspective, but again, the best would be for you to see for yourself.

Dr. Mellor-Crummey has truly been a life saver for my daughter and I. Dr. Mellor-Crummey was court appointed by request due to her experience and professionalism. She looks out for the best interest of the child NOT the parents. If you have a problem with her then maybe you yourself should be evaluated by your own therapist. Just because she doesnt tell you every little detail and break Dr./patient confidentiality does not mean she is a bad therapist.

I have to echo what the other comments have said here, Dr Mellor-Crummey is very rude, condescending and clearly biased towards the female opinion. I would not even recommend someone I disliked to be under her "care" and recommend she be removed from public service.

Rude and very unprofessional considering she is suppose to be An experienced therapist. She did not report what actually happened, on phone said close to what happened, but in writing did not record the truth of the latest visit, one would think we were talking about different events. Perhaps it is her age, in real need of her vacation,or she just does not like me! On our visits she was anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes late for our scheduled appointments. There is no office staff, so no one can tell her the next appointment has arrived, so instead one sits in a lobby where clients from a law office and another office also wait! People come and go from the others sharing the address. Office building is easy to get to, but the experience is not worth the added stress caused by C. Mellor Crummey.
