My father has been through 2 extraordinary surgeries from Dr. Vigness.
There is not a better surgeon in the area, not just according to me but everyone I have been in contact with about him. My father has not been this energetic and excited about life in 20+ years. Coming from having an Aortic dissection (first surgery) then a double (2) Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (second surgery) and him having more energy now then many years prior is outstanding to me. Dr. Vigness is the best.

Dr. Vigness is, by far, the best doctor in the heart surgery industry. He is caring not only to patients but also their families and he explains all aspects of a procedure. He'll stay with the patient until both the patient and families questions are answered and he'll pray with you as well. This man truly has a gift from God!

If you want THE BEST Heart Surgeon, Dr Vigness is the real deal. He saved my life when no one else would give you a plugged nickel for my chances of making it. If he's running late it's because he gives Every patient the time they need to get all questions answered before the surgery. Bring a book & relax, when it's your turn, you'll have his Full Attention and you'll leave feeling fully prepared for the surgery & optimistic about the future instead of terrified by it. He is such a wonderful human being as well as one of the Worlds Best Heart Surgeons & if you are a high risk patient, Dr. Vigness is Definitely the one you want to see. It's now 6 years later & I'm still going strong. Thank God for Dr. Vigness. On a scale of 1 to 10, Dr. Vigness is a 12+ in my book
