Good Dr, listens and does what is best for his patients. Referred me to a different specialist that he felt would have more expertise with my condition.

Dr Barker is a great Dr. He treated me with kindness and fixed my nasal problem. I highly recommend seeing him.

Excellent experience, explained risks and benefits. Had nasal surgery that another doctor previously operated on and messed up.
Turned out very well, i would recommend highly.

Dr. Barker is an awful doctor. If someone like that can get through medical school I have no hope for the world of future doctors. DO NOT get your nose “fixed” by him. I had my procedure done in November and it did NOTHING. Obviously I understand that things may not go the way you would like them to however, I just met with him in person to do my follow-up…. And let me tell you… I told him about how this is frustrating considering I took time off work (unpaid) to get this done, it’s my second nose procedure and nothing changed and that it was upsetting. He proceeded to say that it was basically not his problem that things didn’t go as planned and that he’s not a “psychologist” to deal with the problems his surgery caused Mel . Unless you want to feel like garbage , be spoken down to and not have your surgery go as planned then go see him, he’s great at that. If you want your surgeon to do well and genuinely make you feel like they care, see someone else.

This summer I had an awful and painful legion in my mouth that caused me to spend days in the hospital, and Dr. Barker was among the first to come and see me and I felt safe and heard. He was calm, reassuring, and caring. While my situation was somewhat beyond his specialty, he did take the time and effort to help me as much as possible until the other specialist saw me.

Had a one minute consult for deviated septum. I didn’t hear anything back for months and was on wait list to have surgery. I finally called reception and she got me a surgery date within 2 weeks so I’m not sure what they were waiting for. Had surgery for it and it has not improved- maybe even worse now with more snoring. I still can’t breathe. No follow up with receptionist and they never called or left info sheet with me on what to do after surgery to come back for a check up. Terrible waste of time. I’m going to get a new referral for someone else to get it corrected.

Pleasant communicator, kept me informed! Did an AMAZING job on my sinuses, deviated septum et. al.; His Medical 'Lady Friday', Geri, also did a fantastic job communicating. Cautioned me that some people experience post-surgery pain... I took 2 T3's at the urging of the hospital, before I left and NONE over the next 2 weeks! I. CAN. BREATHE. Thanks Doc!

Dr Barker gave me lots of confidence going into my surgery that he would fix both my deviated septum’s and straighten my nose. I think I can breathe better hard to tell but my nose wasn’t straightened whatsoever. Super disappointed. Had to take two weeks recovery for basically nothing. When he saw my nose after the bandage came off he said “oh still crooked” and tried to press it straight which hurt like heck and also did nothing to straighten it.

When I first met Dr. Barker he seemed to understand my concerns with my nose. Went into my surgery feeling confident I recoverd and realized that my problem wasn’t fixed. He had one job and he did something completely different. He straightened my nasal bone. when he was suppose to remove a lump that was blocking my airway. Went for a follow up, I’ve never left a follow up feeling so disappointed and mistreated. Very rude and snarky when I explained I still couldn’t breathe. Don’t waste your time!
