Dr. Zahid Imran saved my life. After struggling with Bi-Polar I, and Panic disorder for over a decade with several suicide attempts, I was fortunate to meet him in a hospital ( after I tried to kill myself). After leaving there, he became my full time psychiatrist. I worked closely with a counselor and Dr. Imran side by side. She was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable, just like Dr. Imran. She gave him my weekly progress ( I was really a mess right at first, and he recommended this weekly therapy which he made sure first I could afford), and then he spoke to me, never rushing my sessions and worked with me on medications for my bi-polar depression that actually worked. The combination approach of counseling (in the same building) along with Dr. Imran's care was the reason I became stabilized for the first time. I had spent almost my entire 30's panicked, and very depressed or manic. With his care and have been for a decade. I am no longer depressed or have debilitating panic attacks, nor have I attempted suicide. Dr. Imran met me after I had become sober at the TAU center in Baton Rouge. Without his help in controlling my illnesses, I would not be alive today. He is the only doctor in Baton Rouge who cared that I receive both counseling each week and medication management to stabilize me, along with sobriety. Dr. Imran is the most qualified psychiatrist I have ever known. I am now 53 and living a normal full happy stable life. Other doctors pushed "new" overwhelming amounts of drugs that either turned me into a zombie or gave me horrible reactions. I was a guinea pig during my 30's, depressed and overdosing, in and out of mental institutions before I became Dr. Imran's patient. He treated me like an intelligent human and never once talked down to me or patronized me. I have remained stable with my bi-polar and panic disorder and have not tried to harm myself or needed hospitalization since I was fortunate enough to have found this wonderful doctor. I am grateful to him and the therapist who worked with me. Both are EXCELLENT. My daughters are so happy to have their mom back and now I have a grandson I never would have known without his help.

This man is a pill pusher and due to his poor choices has forced several clientele into detoxification and or rehab forcing them to abandon successful lives. Thanks for wrecking any sense of stability.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, Dr zahid like to ask questions and observe and make notes but do answer my questions i am concern about my health so i ask questions about my medication especially since the side aeffect affect me in general

The fact that i am writing this review about dr.imran is a miracle in itself. Me and my wife have been long time patients of dr.imran and he basically saved my family. He has always been quite forth coming and courteous despite me being rude to him on numerous times. He not only ensures best possible care for his patients at his clinic but also strives to improve their lives outside the clinic, in the real world. I have been stable and functional on his therapy for the past few years now and would continue to have him as my family doc. I would certainly recommend his expertise to others in need. God bless him.

This doctor had no respect for my time. I was kept waiting for over an hour. He talks, and never listens. He does not coordinate with other physicians who treat me. He just says they're all wrong even if it is not his area. He tries to take over everything without input from other doctors. He is very abrasive and quick to say patient is difficult if patient is assertive. I would not EVER go back or recommend.

Dr Imran has vast experience and knowledge. I have a chronic illness and have run from specialist to specialist for about 5 years - about 2 appts per week. I finally have up on finding the magic cure and resigned myself to simply seeking help for issues that had the greatest impact on quality of life. Within 2 visits I'm no longer living hour by hour, fearing when I'll no longer be able to work. Such a breath of fresh air to have a doctor obviously in deep thought about how to best help you. Would recommend to anyone!

THE RECEPTIONIST is amazing MRS. ALICE, always friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dr. Imran does always seem to run late making the wait time a little longer to be seen. He is a great doctor, but sometimes i get frustrated with him, but all in all he's nice,

He is wonderful doctor with great deal of compassion and knowledge. I was referred to him by my previous psychiatrist who felt that I need an expert psychopharmacologist. He is very respectful and caring. I would recommend him to anyone without any reservation.

Knowledgeable, but you'll have to wait a while for any appointments. He doesn't say very much to you. He just asks "so, how are you doing?" then you tell him, and he'll make notes of it, write a prescription for you, then it's over.
