Most arrogant, non caring, condescending Dr. I’ve ever had the misfortune to interact with. Never again.

Dr. Porcelan should never have patients who aren't already sexually active. I was her patient in my late teens. I experienced trauma multiple times in her care. She shamed me for being a virgin, including being rough, insulting, and violating during examination. I have carried the impact of her clinical abuse for well over a decade. It has compromised my confidence in my own body, my trust in any gynecologist, and my enjoyment of loving sexual relationships.

I am new to this practice and am very disappointed in Dr. Porcelan. I was scheduled for a colposcopy & biopsy after my initial exam. Dr. P put on gloves, then opened the door to talk to someone, then inserted her finger in me with the same gloves, and without telling me first what she was going to do. She was very brusque during the test, not answering my questions, and then, most aggregiously, she didn't give me any info re: follow-up care! Such as pelvic rest, no baths for a few days, etc. REALLY poor bedside and clinical manner. I won't be seeing her again.

I am surprised to see bad reviews for Dr. Porcelan. I have been going to her for about 15 years and find her very engaging, not rough. Had my annual today and she spent a good amount of time with me asking questions and discussing concerns.

I felt very uncomfortable during the exam. She was very rough and hurt me. She didn't wash her hands before or after. I will never go back!

Very rough and unfeeling. She was showing off for a visiting medical student and embarrassed me. I am very fond of Andrea, the nurse practitioner, and credit her for finding my breast cancer back in 2002. If I could be assured of seeing her instead of Dr. P. , I would return. Since that is not the case, I will be changing gynecologists.

OBGYN recommendation- I can't find the post where someone was asking so I'm sharing here😊. Women for Women (Dr. Barsoum is my main dr there) of lankenau hospital and Paoli (right across from Paoli hospital) is phenomenal. 👏👏

They just delivered my second baby and I couldn't be happier with the doctors, nurses, and staff. I am primarily a malvern office patient but have been to lankenau office as well and both are excellent.

I know the malvern team all on a first name basis. Throughout my second pregnancy I had to bring my toddler to my office visits. They had healthy snacks ready for him and would fuss over him. One time they even gave him balloons!!

Every time I call I receive immediate responses and responsive care, whether it's office hours or not. I've seen every dr and really like and feel comfortable with all of them. They all have different styles and I feel like there is a style for every personality of patient. My primary dr there has given me her cell phone and has even been there for me on vacation when that meant poor reception and stepping away from Her family.

I have had two c sections, my last one with Dr P, with labor preceding both and the care I received was the best. Also, every single nurse and resident who checked my incisions (both deliveries) remarked on how "beautiful" they were. (I asked for my drs to close.) So not only is the office care and bedside matter excellent, so is their surgical skill. I was panicking bc I had special circumstances this last time around bc of having had neurosurgey on my spine last year and she was SO CALM and soothing. She's just excellent.

Have been a patient for many years. Have never had a problem and have always had my calls and test results followed-up. She answers my questions , the exams are fine, never experienced a problem. She has always been spot on.
