Dr. Burra was very professional. Staff is always pleasant. Dr. Burra took the time to explain , in detail, before and after my surgery for a torn rotator cuff.

I love Dr. Burra. He did surgery on my torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. He is not only a skilled surgeon, but also a wonderful, soft spoken man. He took the time to explain my injury, the surgery, and what to expect during my recovery period. While I was in physical therapy, he kept in close contact with my therapist, monitoring my progress. Dr Burra was completely involved in the pre surgical, surgical, and recovery process.. I could not be happier with the results.
I would highly recommend Dr. Burra, and his staff; Drew and Ben.

I thought a lot about my experience with Dr. Burra. I had lots of unnecessary medical expenses thanks to Dr. Burra. An example would be that I couldn't walk walk without limping and extreme pain the first time I went to see him. I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus. I had to go to PT prior to and after surgery. Others that he saw, men in particular, were diagnosed and treated without having to go to PT first. I also had to be seen by an orthopedic oncologist before he operated because of fluid on my knee. The oncologist was bewildered that I was there to get clearance for surgery. He said the fluid was there because of my knee injury not cancer. The oncologist also said the fluid was clear, and if it was an issue, it would be higher on the report instead of the last line. Silly me, went back the next time I had severe knee pain. This time I had to get the MRI, go to PT, get a cortisone shot, more PT, then finally surgery, and more PT . Except this time he misdiagnosed me. I did not tear my meniscus a second time, he said I have arthritis in my knee and it needs to be replaced. I am questioning his diagnosis, considering my track record with him. Not sure why I had such a different experience not once but twice with this doctor but I would never recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Burra, Drew his entire staff. By staff I mean everyone that was involved with the many repairs he did to my shoulder. Skillfully repairing major damage
By doing so he allowed me to continue working a number of years until I retired. He is wildly known thru the Gas Company as being the best. Most recently he did major repair work on my wife. She is extremely happy with the results. If I needed and surgery or was asked who to see and it would be him
My wife and I are 66 and now live painfree normal lives.

Very nice experience. While I would not want to do this often, Dr. and his team were great. Take off the wait time for some of the visits and this was very pleasant. From the front desk staff, to the PAs and Dr. Burra himself, very good experience. Staff is friendly, PAs are knowledgeable and DR. Burra, very upfront with his diagnosis thru the procedure itself.

Dr Burra is top shelf. He explains the procedure and recovery thoroughly and in terms I could easily understand and answered all my questions no matter how small. Over the years he has done surgery on both of my elbows and one knee, each has turned out as good as I could have wished. The staff is friendly and his P.A. Drew is fantastic. Hopefully I will never need to go under the knife again, but if I do It will be Dr. Burra doing it. I am thankful to have had him recommended to me and would recommend him to anyone looking to have surgery.

Thanks to Dr. Burra I have full use of my arm after a ruptured biceps tendon. The staff at Hinsdale is very professional, and Dr. Burra's P.A. Drew is exceptional. The information provided to me was apparent as to what I could expect after my surgery and the various stages of my recovery. Thank you for doing such a great job addressing my concerns and spending the time with me as if I was your only patient.
