Doctor's office closed December 2018. Doctor Offer was the best rheumatologist I've met in 50 years of dealing with doctors.

I am so sad to hear that Dr Offer is retiring.....although it is well deserved! He is definitely one of a kind.....so knowledgeable, patient, kind & caring. I wish him well in all his future endeavors.

My mother started seeing Dr. Offer recently and she has nothing but positive things to say about him. He cares, listens and he is very thorough. We are sad that he will be retiring this year.

So I developed a bad rash on plaquenil, generic, prescribed by doctor to increase my low platelets because of my Lupus. I asked if I could reduce plaquenil by half and go on brand name to try again as my platelets had increased nicely. He said no and wanted me on riskier medication. I refused. Switched to another rheumatologist and he agreed to try me on the brand name plaquenil at lower dose. Platelets are fine again and no rash!! Be in charge of your health.....don't blindly agree to everything docs say. You have a choice in your medication.

He's simply the best in curtesy , knowledge, warm caring service I've ever received from any medical practitioner to date and I'm old. Dealing with chronic pain is never easy but this doctor helps that a lot.

Dr Offer was very personable compared to many other specialists I have seen.
I would highly recommend him if you can go see him.
My only negative is one of his receptionist has really poor attitude. On numerous occasions no body answers the phone. And in person she ignores the phone and let's all calls go to the answering machine.
Not to mention my hospital appointment was completely messed up. Which I told her from the initial phone call she gave me for the operation. I had to go to the hospital in person and fix the surgery appointment mistake.

I've been a patient of Dr. Offer since about 2004, he diagnosed me with Psoriatic arthritis, and worked with me to keep me out of a wheel chair, Humira was new on the market, although not covered by the local government, Dr. Offer work hard and sent a draft into the government and got this life saving medication covered, thanks to him, I'm still in remission. It's been 9 yrs now and I'm living a normal life. Thank you Dr. Offer.
