I found Dr. Friefeld great. She was very compassionate, listened to my concerns and treated me very fairly. She ran the tests needed and kept on top of my conditions.

She is very thorough, knowledgeable and is always prepared. She got my mom’s Thyroid issues under control. I agree that she is not the friendliest, but she is compassionate when the need arises. I prefer competence over handholding. I have managed to see her crack a smile on occasion.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Friefeld’s for almost 3 years. The first couple of times I saw her, I felt as if I was bothering her as I had several questions. My thyroid was removed which was a lot to deal with due to major complications after the surgery. She had ZERO compassion. She has now “somewhat“ began to crack a smile and is a bit more helpful. If you’re looking for that warm, caring, compassionate doctor, she’s not the one!
If you’re okay with cold, callus, let’s get down to business and “goodbye”, she’s definitely for you!

Have seen her handful of times over 25yrs for thyroid issues. Last visit to her was disgusted in the fact I had to do thyroid blood work and I asked her to do full thyroid panel as I had never to my knowledge had done and my reason to see her was thyroid out of control . Her response was “ these tests cost money” what??? I have NEVER. Asked for tests prior or even ultrasound for that matter so for her to say that was not professional nor was my health a consideration I was just an expense. She needs to retire! Disgusted !!!! Find a caring and genuine doctor with logical thinking rather than thinking about money!

I've been seeing her for over 6 years. No issues. She has helped me through my Graves disease and always stays on top of things with me. I would recommend her and have done so already to others.
