I apologize for the ugly photos in advance!
Ok, this post will probably be deleted right away, but it's been now 5yrs since this Doctor that I put all my trust into Richard Francis of Houston,Texas, who owns Spine Associates.
https://myspineassociates.com/?utm_source=GMBSocialClimb&utm_medium=SpineAssociatesRichardFrancis%2CMD
Thanks to him, I have not had one day without pain, NOT ONE!!! For 5yrs now!! The photos are graphic, but I want everyone to see what Richard Francis done to me after he PROMISED ME that the surgery was going to be done Robotically, FOUR SMALL CUTS!!! "He Said"!
"Only 4"!
When I was in recovery, James told me I was in surgery so long they just knew something went wrong! James, my husband, and Sister~Brother inlaw were there with me. When I finally started coming to, I realized Dr. Richard Francis LIED to me he had done a FULL 360° BACK FUSION!! In a Day Sugery Center on me!! I was so..so sick, we were at MVP Sugery Center, the nursing staff that was there were having a Very Difficult time waking me up. They kept telling James she needs to wake up. Y'all need to go. We are closing!! "CLOSING"? I can't even keep my eyes open.

Well, James and David got me loaded up in the truck! James told them I can't take her home like this tonight, I don't know what could possibly happen, and we are over an hour away from downtown hospitals! He said I really don't have a clue what to do with her. Mind you, James had the same Sugery, and he was in the hospital almost 5 days!!! The man next to James had the same surgery, and he passed away😭.
So they decided to take me to the Holiday Inn. downtown. The minute they got me out of the truck and in the main entrance infront of the check~in desk. I started throwing up everywhere!! They got me up in the room where all I remember is 2 things it was a Beautiful everything White in the room, and then it was a
" Blood Bath". James was told to drain my surgery bag but was not given instructions! When he pulled the tube out, it was definitely the wrong end. Blood sprayed EVERYWHERE all over them, their clothes, their shoes, and all over everything else that went from White to Red in seconds!! They all tried to clean me up and lay me down. I started hurting so BAD!! Only to find out NOT ONE Pharmacy in the area would fill my pain pills!! I went ALL NIGHT and half the next day trying to find a Pharmacy to fill them. We finally got all the way back to Baytown, and James got them filled by Walgreen's Pharmacy on 146.
You are probably asking why am I talking about it now??
Because Dr. Richard Francis kept telling me he was So Sorry he sent me these flowers 5yrs ago today & they popped up on my memories, I should say out of my nightmares, which to this day I still have often! What Doctor or Surgeon has ever sent Flowers to a Patient's house after your 1st follow-up visit? & I'm crying, begging him to never put anyone else through what he done to me! He kept telling me it's going to take a lot of therapy and about 2yrs! Guess who believed him again? Yes, ME!!! I tried to go back later to talk to him about it. Attached is the text message he sent me!! So i did go he got very rude with me and James, and after he PROMISED there would be no charges the office charged me $257.00! Then I called his office manager and showed her this mess. They did send me a refund attached with a letter signed by Dr. Richard Francis stating he was never going to see me again!!! After he PROMISED he would Help Me!!
After waiting 2yrs not going a day without constant pain, I contacted an Attorney, yes I was going to try to sue him so I could try to go get help from a different surgeon. I didn't realize it's virtually impossible to find another surgeon to take you after someone else already opened you up!! Because they don't want to try and fix someone else's screw~up.
I contacted 3 attorneys in the Houston area, and they all refused me because they said they had a personal relationship with Richard Francis!! I just bet they did!! He probably bought them~off!
Then finally, when I found one in Dallas, he told me the Statue of Limitations is exhausted in 2yrs! It would absolutely be a waste of time and money to try and prove malpractice now!! You are probably wondering why I had Sugery, I had been living with a broken back for a long time!! I kept telling Richard Francis that the only time I ever really hurt is if I would work real hard and lift heavy things. He told me if I didn't get it fixed, 1 little accident is all it would take to cut my Spinal Cord into between my Vertebrates that were one slipped forward and the other backwards. Pictures are the Blk & White X-rays.
So Dr. Richard Francis, I hope that somehow you will see this, and MY FACE WILL HAUNT YOU for MANY YEARS TO COME!!
The same way this the constant pain has for me the me gor past FIVE years!!

Mom had surgery last year and came
Out worse than she went in! I don’t recommend this doctor. She Will have to have back surgery again, due to complications that resulted from his surgery. She returned to the doctor after the complication arose and he told her”
What do you want me to do about it!” office visit where over booked and waited time at least 1 1/2- 3 hours.

I was 57 at the time I first saw Dr. Francis. I don't like giving NEG feedbacks but I feel I have to, if anything for others to see and they can make their own decision. I saw Dr. Francis for almost 3 years. I'm sitting here now using my walker/wheel chair and seeing another doctor. I saw him the first time in 2016. I went to him for a sciatica nerve issue that affected my right leg. First thing he said after looking at my x-rays is he could practically see through my bones but never said anything about I needed to wait for surgery due to my poor bones. He did find I had scoliosis, a 27% curve of my spine and he saw the nerve that was bothering me. I told him I needed to go ahead with surgery, still no mention that he thought I should wait due to my bones. He later, after the surgery put me on Forteo for it. I had surgery in September 2016. I hurt above and beyond what would be normal afterwords. After a week he found some of my hardware had pulled out so I went back and he fixed it. I ended up being in the hospital for a month, including the rehab hospital. I never felt right and I couldn't stand up very straight, it was like I was being pulled down. When I would go in to see him and let him know he would sit there just looking at my folder then he would say you need more PT and schedule me for PT, which I couldn't do because of pain. Also he went through the front, my stomach and back. I found where surgeons discontinued going through the front in 2015 due to complications it causes. My stomach looked awful after surgery, it was sagging and folded over and the left side was extended. I waited 4 months before saying anything, since he hadn't asked to see my front incision. The nurse said it would go down. I asked several more times over the 3 years and Dr. Francis would just ignore my question by talking to my husband or he'd say the muscle must be weak on that side, still never looking at it. In the 3rd year I was still unable to walk very far and was having a lot of pain. More PT was always his cure. My husband talked to the PT doctors and they said I couldn't do PT while having pain. Told Francis that and he was quiet. I started having severe muscle contractions in my back. Eventually the bones cracked above the hardware on my spine. Went in to see Francis. Waited 3 hours in the waiting room and 2 hours in the exam room. I was the last patient of the day and I was almost in tears. He finally called us out where he was and informed me that he could no longer see me and he was sending me to another doctor. He claimed he couldn't fix the fracture which we knew was BS. He was cold about it. I mentioned the nerve pain was back, which is what I saw him for in the first place. He abruptly said the new doctor would look at it and that was it. No nice words after 3 years, just see ya. The new doctor he sent me to, Dr. Meyer, has been wonderful so far but I'll let you know the outcome when it happens. Dr. Meyer said Dr. Francis' surgery left me with a Hernia on the left side of my stomach. He wondered why he went through the front and said other things but I won't mention them here. All in all Dr. Francis was my hero in the beginning but has caused me nothing but pain and $$$. He didn't even call or email Doctor Meyer to let him know anything about my case. I'm hoping and praying that I become the energetic and full of life person I was. Dr. Francis may be good but when there are problems like I had he wants nothing to do with you. So beware.
