I have been seeing this doctor for five or so years for annual physicals and never experienced any medical conditions outside of that where her "expertise" could be helpful. So about a month ago i started having this cramping pain and bloating that was getting progressively worse. I reached out to her office to schedule a visit. I assumed that since i am a patient of hers it is her responsibility to try and accommodate me in this situation. Straight off the bet they tell me she is booked for a few months. I was like, well i am having this pain i do not have 2 months can she squeeze me in even for a few minutes. They were so unaccommodating it was crazy. The pain got progressively worse and worse, i kept calling the office and getting the same middle finger. all they ever said, if it is an emergency go to ER! Well, it was not en emergency straight away and all could have been avoided easily if she just bothered to at least get me to do some tests. So i decided to wright to the doctor. she never even got back to me at all! So one day, i call the front desk and pretty much have a break down on the phone. And what do you know, she calls me! But not because she cares at all, because there is a protocol to follow and i assume she could not get out of it. She just goes through the motions, asks what's up and says just go to ER. I tell her, i just went to urgent care can i at least send you the results that you can look at? Her response - IF YOU FEEL LIKE IT!!! are you kidding! i am in pain for over 2 weeks and that's all you got? i was crushed honestly by her complete lack of care. She obviously did not offer to see me or even make an effort. There was no follow up nothing! I did end up in ER with a ruptured appendix with some complications because it was leaking for so long. I am shocked and angry and want to let anyone considering this failure of a human being as a doctor to STAY THE F AWAY and find a doctor who will be there for you not just for an annual physician because they can milk your insurance and it's easy but when you really need them.

Dr. Rose is very thorough, always taking the time to listen to and document medical problems and investigating any abnormalities in exams or tests. She is good about responding to email (though I am careful not to abuse that privilege) and runs her schedule on time. She has also given me great referrals. Her staff is friendly, helpful and responsive to refill, record and other requests.

Dr. Rose never followed up with my orthopedic surgeon with my pre-op results before she went on vacation and so I wasn't able to have my surgery done. I remember when I asked her to follow up with my hematologist who's also part of the NYU medical centers, her reply was"I don't have time to do that." I finally had to decide to leave her and look for another PCP'S.

This was my second visit, as I see her yearly. She remembered me, which was shocking! Most doctors have that wham bam thank you ma'am kinda attitude, but this one doesn't. She is always in good spirits, and genuinely listens. You can tell she takes what she does very seriously, and she gives great advice for long-term health. Will absolutely continue to see her even if my insurance stopped accepting her. That's how comfortable I am with her.5

Took the time to listen, personally took my medical history, didn't feel rushed or just another patient. Staff was welcoming, helpful. Had bloodwork done, excellent care.

Just switched to Dr. Rose because my former primary care physician stopped taking GHI and planned to move out of the City. All the above reviews are accurate: she's considerate, comprehensive and highly credentialed. I highly recommend Dr. Rose.

I am so pleased to have found an internist that is so pleasant and helpful. Dr Rose takes time to listen, answer questions and explain medical terms I'm not familiar with. She is good at following up and explaining test results by phone. I feel like she really cares! I have visited her twice now and both experiences have been extremely positive.

Dr. Rose is exactly what one would hope for in a physician--knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful. She is expresses her opinion about your health (and any unhealthy choices you make) without judgement but with genuine concern. Her staff is great, very enthusiastic, attentive and happy to be doing their job. When I called to find out if she was running late or on time, the person who answered essentially said she is just about always on time. I highly recommend Dr. Rose.
