I have been seeing Dr Buchi for many years, after my previous Dr at IGO retired. She is an excellent doctor. She is kind, very professional, knowledgeable, listens and provides excellent care. Be prepared to wait a bit. Sometimes things happen in a busy ob/gyn office and scheduling gets off track. The waiting room is very nice and if the patient before you needed a little extra time, it's ok. It does take forever to get an appointment so I schedule my annual exam at least 6 months out. That's because she's a great doctor. If she wasn't so good, there wouldn't be such a long wait. She is also very involved in the community, donating countless hours, providing free care to women who cannot afford it through Champions for Health. She's a great person and a great doctor.

Dr. Buchi has never been anything but professional, helpful, caring and so very on top of the latest reports and findings. I highly recommend her. Will now travel long distance just to have her do my yearly physical.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Buchi!! She managed both of my pregnancies and did so in a very friendly, professional and educated manner. She always had plenty of time to answer all of my questions and helped me make decisions regarding additional tests such as a 1st trimester screening and amniocentesis. She guided me through a second pregnancy with complication and reassured me about the safety of a VBAC delivery (vaginal birth after cesarean), which is my most cherished life experience to date. The only disappointment was that she was not available for either delivery, c'est la vie with busy OB/GYNs and labor emergencies. Highly, highly recommended!

Dr. Buchi is one of the smartest, kindest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is extremely thorough and has wonderful bedside manner. Her assistant Vianna works very hard to help take care of her patients. They are a wonderful team.

I would never refer anyone to this doctor! It takes forever to get in to see her (even with a high risk pregnancy) and her medical assistant Viana has very poor customer service skills. She did a great job with my first pregnancy, but really missed the boat with the second pregnancy (i.e. her assistant couldn't get me in for 2 months even when I told her I was diabetic/taking insulin in pregnancy, Dr. Buchi told me she could see me after the ultrasound and when we showed up, her assistant said we didn't have an appt.). Overall, Dr. Buchi and her assistant seem very overwhelmed, too busy, disorganized, and not interested in doing service recovery when something goes wrong. She didn't even flinch when I told her I was going to find a different doctor or ask what could have been done differently. I work really hard to have a healthy pregnancy and control my diabetes and I would have liked Dr. Buchi to make things easier for me during this stressful time.

I had the total opposite experience with Dr. Buchi. She was running about an hr. late, didn't spend much time with me and told me she couldn't help me. Her name was on a list of Drs. who treat my condition, but obviously the list wasn't accurate.

Dr. Buchi was very helpful and she made me feel very comfortable. I went through a bad experience with my doctor before. It had been a whole year and he hadn't diagnosed me. Dr. Buchi immediately took figured out the problem and called me to let me know what steps she would like to take to remedy the problem. It only took one appointment for her to pinpoint my problem.

Dr. Buchi is so friendly, especially in such an uncomfortable situation (like OB checkup). She is very knowledgeable and caring.
