I managed to get a quick appointment for an urgent issue but for some reason the doctor didn't seem to care enough to see me himself. I was only able to see his resident, who tried suggesting that perhaps I was just imagining my symptoms. Very inappropriate way to treat a patient, and makes me not trust them. Both the resident and Dr. Garber should know better.

I was referred to Dr. Garber after my original ENT moved away. In the 2-3 visits I have had with him, he often seems standoffish, like I was wasting his time. When in fact he was almost 45 minutes late for my most recent appointment. Maybe my symptoms are not that important to him, but I thought that doctors are not to let their patients feel unimportant. And I had to call to tell my other appointment that I would be late. I understand that doctors get busy, and a lot of times it can't be helped, but I know that it wasn't that in this instance. The resident doctor working under him was thorough with the initial exam. I have this feeling they failed to look at my records because they prescribed the wrong medication for me. Luckily I caught it before I left, so they had to represcribe the correct meds.

I've been a patient of Dr. Garber's for 8 years.
The man is straight forward, calls it how it is and gives good quality care to his patient's. If you ever need an ENT in Winnipeg, this is the person to go see.

This doctor saved my sanity! He diagnosed my Meniere's and saw me through a very difficult transition period of adjusting to life with this condition. I can not say thank you enough to him for being under his care for many years, answering my many repeated questions many times over with patience, care and understanding. Brilliant guy!
