Dr Paquin knows her dermatology. I was a patient of hers for about 15 to 20 years.
She could be very moody and irritable at times, especially when she was winding down her practice.
I never said anything to her about her bedside manner, but it definitely left a lot to be desired.

I was referred to Dr.Paquin because I have a lot of freckles and moles and my doctor thought it would be good to see a specialist to keep an eye on things. Sometimes the wait times were a tad long but when the dr. sees you, you are never rushed and she is very thorough. She sadly is retiring at the end of this year after a long career, I will miss seeing her as she is so lovely and kind. She mentioned someone else is interested in taking over her patients so hopefully that will be the case, as I have my GP and skin doctor in the same office which is very convenient.
Dr.Paquin is a rare gem as she is in dermatology for dermatology and not in it for the cosmetic side of things which clearly pays a lot more, so it is challenging to find an actual dermatologist.
Regardless she will be missed, but wishing her all the best in retirement.

A very knowledgeable and pleasant doctor - although there is generally a wait time, I have put 5 stars for that a well because she took the time needed with my parents as well, to not miss anything and to make it a pleasant experience for them.

I have seen many dermatologists over the years, in more than one Canadian city. She is by far the best. Very professional and kind. Cares about the practice of medicine not money!

All about money. Patient to patient for brief interaction. Greed as is typical for today's doctors. Questionable ethics beyond the draw of dollars.

She is very knowledgeable in her field, however I find that sometimes she tends to be very picky in telling me that I should be addressing my dermatological issues first with my family gp and if the gp can't remedy the issue then I should book an appointment with her. I have been a patient of hers for many years and I recently received a letter from her letting me know that she is downsizing her practice so now I must find a new dermatologist which to me is a slap in the face for being a loyal patient of hers for a long time. It would have been a lot more convenient if she would have sent my medical files over to another dermatologist in the area.

Excellent dermatologist.
Referred me to an awesome plastic surgeon
to remove a mole on the edge of my lip,
instead of doing it herself.
Had a beautiful outcome.
Lovely bedside manner, too.

She and her staff are great! I have just learned over the years that it is likely that she will be behind schedule. That being said she takes to time for me to ask questions so I should expect the same for others,
