He was very rude and dismissive. Barely listened to me. I left the office feeling shaken. We were only there for a wellness exam. It’s a shame because we love all the other doctors at this practice and this was our first terrible experience. We will never see him again.

Our children have received excellent care from Dr. Erdley. He's patient, compassionate, and has a really funny sense of humor. Dr. Erdley is clearly very intelligent, and he takes the time to explain his diagnoses and treatment plans so we all understand what's going to happen going forward. We've brought our kids to see Dr. Erdley for many years and think he's great.

Dr. Erdley is great. Very smart, asks good questions, and explains what he's doing. I really feel like he cares about my children's health. Plus he has an awesome sense of humor. I don't get some of the other reviewers' comments - not my experience at all!

horrible doctor!! Nightmare doctor!! Do not bring your kids to see this guy- not joking! Stay away! If his extreme, condescending remarks don't turn you off - the comments he will make about your parenting choices will. He will put you down one way or another during your visit and you will leave the appointment feeling disgusted.

I've been at Southeast Denver Pediatrics since 2005 and Dr Erdley is a horrible doctor. Like others have said he's condescending and doesn't really seem interested in the patients or what my opinion as a parent may be. Because of my experiences with him I've decided to find a better pediatrician for my kids. One that will work with me and not against me.

Rude and made me feel completely stupid. I still don't know what is wrong and he never followed up, so I guess I will need to se another doctor. Total waste of time. I have seen him a few times and each time he treats me like I am the worst mother ever. Not sure how this doctor is in with a great practice as his dealings with patients is deplorable!

Dr Erdley has treated our two children for 9+ years. Boy 9+, girl 13+. If you want someone who knows what they are doing, use Dr Erdley. He has nailed the diagnosis on some difficult conditions, and was right on (thankfully) a diagnosis that resulted in several days in the hospital; but without Dr Erdely would have been much worse. If you want Dr Huxtable, watch the reruns, if you want someone who can diagnosis conditions and solve challenges, use Dr Erdley. Yes, he is not the best at bedside, but he listens and is ultimately great for your kid.

His bedside manner could use a little work. As others have said, he is extremely curt and disinterested. He doesn't like when you ask, "why?" as if it is a huge personal affront and a waste of his time. It's a shame, because the rest of the people in the practice are great. He should have picked a different discipline than pediatrics - being a bit of a jerk is obviously more accepted in other fields. Come on guy - you're a pediatrician! Lighten up!

Saw him for a consultation from another doctor who we felt was doing a very poor job. Turned out Erdley was personal friends with the other doctor and immediately shut down. praised the other doctor, said the other doctor was more intelligent than him. Did a basic check with his stethoscope and then had the nurse check weight and measurments. His own staff (nurse) told me that he is very set in his ways and she recommended another doctor in the office that she uses!
