This dr. is apt to get into power struggles such as refusing to give written scripts, refusing to talk about anything besides medicine effects, and his glorious finale was to refuse to call in refills for a script as he claimed the pharmacy had made a mistake. So he let his patient withdraw from 5+ years of benzodiazapines to show he was right and the pharmacy was wrong. Withdrawal from anti-depressants and tranquilizers is dangerous and very un-pleasant, but by golly, this doctor HAS TO BE RIGHT. I did see him smile one time. Picks effective meds, but his own need for control is contrary to good patient relationships.
