Where do I start about this doctor and his staff? They are phenomanal!!! This man along with his staff goes above and beyond for his patients. He has the best heart. It is obvious that he loves what he does. Not to mention his skills are top notch! He has done so many things to actually change medicine. he performed surgeries on my son that few have even heard of. However it has allowed him to lead such a much easier life. On one of the many hospital stays my son had due to medical issues, Dr. Kafer was going on a weekend vacation with his family out of town (mind you he has young children)he gave me his personal pager number just in case I felt I needed to talk to him. he felt this way the nurses wouldn't be making the decision wether to call it would be his patients mom who actually knows the child! You do NOT find this in a doctor!Several times each year he goes to other countries to do surgery for pts that can't afford care!
