No one is bettern that Dr. Coughlin. There should not even be a discussion on this.

Dr Coughlin did two separate surgeries on my foot. Both came out great, be is a very good surgeon.

In Dr. Coughlin's words, I didn't need a second opinion because he was the best Foot and Ankle doctor around. After the first surgery he wrapped the suture from one toe around the next toe and forgot to clip the thread between them. 3 weeks later as the nurse was taking the sutures out she laughed it off but the skin on the back of my toe was practically dead because of his error. Oh, that was second to his prescribing a medication I am allergic to right after surgery..... he prescribed 3 intravenous drip bags of Clindamycin even though it was posted on the front of my chart and I was wearing an allergic alert bracelet. I broke out in a rash and had difficulty breathing because of it! My toe healed crooked because of the suture not being cut between my two toes but in my chart it said I had bumped my toe causing it to be crooked...this never happened. The 2nd operation, he sewed my toe on with the nail bed turned to the side....these are only some of the flukes. Would I recommend Dr Coughlin?........not even to my worst enemy!

Dr Coughlin fused the sub taylor joint in my ankle 26 yr ago. He told me I would hate him for 9 mo and then love him and that was pretty much the case. I have not had one bit of pain in that ankle since then. I would recommend him to anyone.

Wish my experience had been a 5 but it was more like a minus 5. Went to Dr. C for foot pain in the ball of my foot. He told me I could get a second opinion but he was the BEST and he knew what I needed. After three surgeries and 5 years of pain, I would not let him operate on my goldfish. Since that time, I have heard from others that feel he butchered their feet, too, so I am wondering who provided all the glowing remarks. I wish I had turned him into the medical board for the errors he did during my surgeries ---- like prescribing a medication that I was allergic to and had in my chart, not to mention having the bracelet on stating it, too. He needs to retire and let the younger more attentive doctors do the work. Dr. C, you are not the best.

I have been seeing Dr C for over 20 years. I am convinced that he is the reason I am still able to walk. I have had many surgeries and he and his staff have been amazing. If you have severe orthopedic foot issues he is your best choice. Thanks Dr C!

I have pre arthritis with a whole bunch of junk going on with my talus and he referred me to someone else. Just not impressed.

Have been a patient of Dr Coughlin's for 8 years. We started with non-invasive remedies, bought time, but eventually needed surgical interventions. Sucessful end results, excellent follow-up, office staff is professional and caring. I have complete trust in his knowledge, abilities and have referred several friends to his care.
