I found him to be an amazing doctor. Helpful and caring. Even during the pandemic he has been there for me during a difficult time. Thank you Doctor!!

Dr. Stokl has been the beacon of light for me during a very difficult time in my life. I've only seen him twice when I was admitted in emerg. He's patient, listens, provides valuable feedback, and most importantly he reassured me that I can get better. I have hope that I'll get better because of him. I wish so badly I could see him on a consistent basis.

The the person who got to see Dr. Stokl in emergency and can continue to see him is very blessed. I have had Dr.Stokl a few times, whiching I could get him on a regular basis. He is kind understanding and genuine. I can't really say about his staff, as I don't go to his office. However they are probably good, as I can't see Dr. Stokl allowing bad staff to work for him.
If it is true that he is retiring that will be a sad day.

I'm going through hell right now and I would love to get help from him.
I trust him.
I have been treated badly by others and the nurses. When I have had the privilege of seeing him, he always ask if I have been treated fairly.

When I have been admitted to the 3rd floor, I try my best to get him. As he knows me and treats me like a human being. Even when he has had to form me, or even give me an injection. I will always respect him, even if at times I get angry. At those times is when I need the help. Thanks again Dr. Stokl.

I first met Dr Stokl when I went to the Emergency Department at Southlake. I was extremely angry at the world and lashed out at one of the rude Emergency Department nurses. They called a Code for violence. Although my worst time in my life, I was restrained by the Director of Psychiatry-Jody Levac. He was extremely forceful, but clear. Dr Stokl gave me an injection. Both of these men came back throughout my stay and asked how I was doing. I even was able to joke about my punching Jody . I was out of my mind. Dr Stokl has seen me ever since and is very helpful when I start to slip or feel like I could explode. Fanatstic psychiatrist!

Ive been seeing Dr. STOKL for years. His advice helped, and he helped me find my way through very difficult times. I found my apts. were my only outtings that i had. Every year around December his sectetary would call and we would book apts. for the whole next year. 2018 , no call, i couldnt get in touch with him, though phone, or email. I tried quite a few times and nothing!!!. REJECTED, IGNORED, AND DUMPED BY MY TRUSTED DOCTOR!!! NOT ONE WIRD OF EXPLAINATION. SET ME BACK 6 YEARS AT LEAST. Then i get a phone call from his secretary saying my October 18 apt gas been changed to Sat.Oct ???? at 9am??? She left a number to confirm and i called it immediately and got a wrong number. I tried repeatedly to get in touch. No RESULTS!!!!! WHAT OCT APT?? HOW DID SHE COME UP WITH DAYE OUT OF THE BLUE?? WHST OTHER APTS HAVE I MISSED...NO LETTERS .... NO MORE PHONE CALLS....I'M A TERRIBLE MESS!!! I HAVE NO FAMILY OR FRIENDS. AND I FOUND OUT THRU AN AQUATAINCE THAT HES RETIRING???!!!!!! W.T.H. IS GOING ON. AM I A BIG NOTHING???? WHY WOULD A PROFESSIONAL DO THIS TO SOMEONE? WHO DO I CALL??? WHAT CAN I DO TO GET THROUGH TO HIM???

He's a terrible psychiast. I watched my mother deteriorate for years because of him prescribing the wrong medication. Misdiagnosing her. Prescribing pill after pill. Most counter acting one another. She had trouble sleeping and he prescribed her a super strong sleeping pill that she'd never taken before not knowing how it would effect her. She was falling all around. He seems like a sweet doctor with a calm caring dimeanor. But don't let that fool you. He's already got a lawsuit pending from another patient I am told.

The most caring doctor around. Appts as early as 6am and as late as 6pm every day to accommodate his patient’s work schedules. Listens, empathizes, offers advice and medical knowledge and treatment. Lucky to have found him.

I believe he is the most in the know doctor! He truly knows his stuff grown to count on him. He will give you answers where a lot won’t.
