Maybe if he spent less time talking about himself (in-laws, pilot’s license etc) he’d have more time to care for patients and fewer malpractice lawsuits.

Excellent visit! He’s one of the best doctors that I’ve ever been treated by! He’s thorough and empathetic with my condition. Very kind and compassionate. Speaks understandably.
Yes, I would recommend Dr.Zaitlen to anyone needing a neurologist.

This is a terrible doctor. I had a visit with him in March 2022 and never heard anything until May of 2023 when I received a notification in the mail to have a brain MRI. What is with over a year later!!! Then I got notice if a referral for July 2024. Now that doctor is closing up practise. Here I am coming up on two years later and I am no better off as nothing has been done. My GP had to give me the MRI results as I never heard from Zaitlin. Not since 2022.

I was referred to this doctor because the one that I actually wanted to see is just too busy to take me. I was seeing after an hour of my scheduled appointment. The visit took about an hour. He talks so much about his personal life, his in-laws and other relatives. I am not very sure what all that has to do with my issues, but I guess some people are just like that, they love a good chat. In any case, it bothered me a bit. We discussed my issues, and honestly he didn't provide me with any new information about it, having read everything that I could about it in the past several years. But so it is with some illness, so I don't really hold him accountable in that regard. He prescribed me a medication that I am yet to try.
I've read here that a lot of people have had similar experience with Dr. Zaitlen. However, what really stands out to me is the medical mal-practice case. I'd say do your research and make your own decision before you go ahead and book an appointment with him and/or follow up with treatment.

Avoid him like the plague! Get your doctor to refer you to another neurologist. He talked non-stop about his computer problems, the fact he is a licenced pilot, that he has experienced g-forces in the human centrifuge, he had not reviewed any files and four months later has not forwarded his report to the family doctor. If you see him you will be waiting, waiting and waiting for follow-up and his office does not return calls. Just brutal.

Just remembering Dr. Zaitlen today, Thanksgiving weekend, 2023, and so thankful he was my neurologist when I fell ill with Guillain-Barre over 30 years ago. I am 80% healed, thanks to him, and I trusted him so much. He is the best doctor ever. Absolutely genius.

This doctor is awful. Twice we waited almost 3 hours past our appointment time. His assistant is rude. We got a referral to another neurologist in Brampton and he is amazing. Dr rasquinah.
