Dr Michael Downey is Amazing! Ive had many surgeries before I saw him and with him doing surgery on me I can say my right foot feels the best it felt in 5 years. He's doing what hopefully will be my last surgery on my left foot 12/19 I can't wait to move on with my life and with his help I believe that's going to happen!! Awesome Dr I would recommend him to anyone!!

Wonderful experience. Had surgery, including my bunionand all my crooked toes, by Dr. Downey and it couldn’t have gone better. It all healed uneventfully. He is a true professional and you feel like a family member. Highly recommend him!

Had reconstructive surgery in Nov/18. What a wonderful experience with Dr. Michael Downey, his residents, nurses and Penn Presbyterian Hospital. Just waiting to get back to work with my 4th graders!

Dr. Downey came highly recommended to me by my local podiatrist. My local doc told me that if he or his children needed foot or ankle surgery, it would be Dr. Downey doing it. Now that I have had surgery by Dr. Downey, I fully understand why he got such a personal and high recommendation. He spent an extraordinary amount of time with me at my first office visit looking at my previous x-rays and MRIs, and explained what was going on with my foot and ankle. He then formulated a treatment plan that did include surgery. The surgery was done and the care of his staff, including his residents and fellows, has been unbelievably great! I now feel fully recovered and am functioning pain-free. I hope this post encourages others to seek out this caring and knowledgeable surgeon and physician!

Fantastic foot and ankle surgeon! He did a surgery on both my feet for bunions and hammertoes. My pain is now gone and I can fit in my dress shoes. I'm so glad I did my research and found him! Highly recommended!

Very knowledgeable physician. I like him a lot. Unfortunately, it's a very poorly run office. I'm writing about 38th and market location. Wait times have been 2 hours. Staff is clueless.

staff is negligent, mixes up patient records, don't admit they made a mistake and don't want to fix their own mistakes.

Dr. Downey is the consummate professional and caring physician. I went to see him based upon a referral from my local orthopedic surgeon, as he stated Dr. Downey was the best and he would have his or a family member's foot surgery only By Dr. Downey. I have now recovered from reconstruction surgery on both my feet and I couldn't be happier. My expectations have been exceeded and I waited to be sure both feet were good before writing this review. Please seek out this wonderful man! You will be glad you did!
