Worst dentist I've ever had...avoid this woman at all costs! Rudest, most disrespectful dentist I've ever been to. I told her I was allergic to penicillin but she prescribed it for me anyway. Apparently, the staff took it upon themselves to take it out of my records. My pharmacy caught her mistake, and when I called to request another antibiotic, she yelled at me. Screw her!

Absolutely awful office staff. Dr. DiComes, as skilled as she may be, is out for one thing only: $$$$!! Lucille is absolutely awful. I have been going to Dr. DiComes for almost 30 years, and will be finding a new dentist. Enough is enough. This office is abusive to their patients. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Sad I’ve been going to this Dentist for as long as I can remember with my family and had the WORST experience taking My 3 year old in. I would never ever recommend her to anyone ever again. She is downright RUDE. The way she spoke to me and my 3 year old while he threw a tantrum, pulled on his arm while he was trying to pull away in another direction. I kept my cool but you bet once I took a min to calm down when I left I called and spoke to her about how the treatment was unacceptable and not the way to go about handling pediatric patients. there was no sincere apology just her excuses to why she is the way she is with children that throw fits. I’m guessing this is the reason why they prefer parents not being in the room so they can mistreat the children 10x worse than she did with me there. So glad I pushed to be in there my gut told me not to let him go back there alone.
SAVE YOURSELVES FROM A HORRIBLE DENTIST. All these reviews are 110% truth.

SPOT on reviews. And yes, for all of you that say you've been going X amount of years with no troubles, I'd like a pair of those blinders that you wear. Nasty, nasty women work the front desk, the ever changing hygienists, and Dr. Dicomes at the helm with one agenda - $$$$$$$.

The staff is completely rude and the dr talks down to you.

Why do I need to CALL BACK to confirm my appointment??? I’ve never had to do that with any other medical office. Are they worried they won’t collect their cancellation fee?? I specifically asked for no phone call confirmation because I’m an adult and know how to show up to an appointment I’ve put into my calendar. Period. When I stated that I was unhappy with the amount of phone calls I received in a 24 hour period (6 calls!), the receptionist “L” said it was the dr’s policy. How about customer service and doing what’s best for the customer or what the customer prefers? She asked “if this would be problem” and I said yes I think I’m just going to cancel my appointment. I was trying to be nice and said my appointment is on my birthday and I think I’d just like to change it at this point and I got a nasty attitude back with her saying “oh I thought it was in your calendar??” It IS in my calendar you rude b*tch but you’ve made me so uncomfortable that I was trying to nicely say I’m all set. SMH

The last time I was there, the hygienist was very nice (forget her name) however the dr was very snooty. Instead of just talking g to me like an adult and providing me with information & options in a friendly bedside manner, instead she talked to me telling me what I “should” do and started ordering all these expensive visits for me (mouth guard, root cancel, etc). I said hold on, I need to find out what insurance covers first. And her comment was very pushy, saying I really needed to do these things. I said well I’m not in any pain at the moment so I thinking waiting a little bit won’t hurt me. I certainly didn’t have the hundreds of dollars for co-pays!

I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The overall experience was horrendous. I feel like I should call back and complain to the dr about the front desk but will she even handle it properly or care?? So why waste my time, done with that place!!!

These ratings are SPOT ON! The front office staff is rude and condescending! Her so called manager has a severe case of RBF! I found a new dentist and it had been wonderful! Same hygienist for 3 years now, unlike the revolving door of hygienists that you find in this office.

I cannot believe the front desk rudeness at times! Very moody and in need of an attitude adjustment. It doesn't matter how good Dr. Dicomes may be if you are not comfortable with the bill collector whose facial expressions and tone represent an almost bitterness and feeling of superiority. Perhaps it time for a new position. A profession rides on it because you can't have a practice without patients!

I agree with all the negative ratings of Dr. DiComes staff and their greed for money through xrays and crowns. Her staff is most rude! I got in a yelling match with her. Ruthless and ignorant to say the least. Never will I go back !!!

I have never been motivated to review a health care professional, but enough is enough. I have been going to Dr. Dicomes for 20+ years and after being beat up by the office staff and hygienist around every appointment, I swear it will be the last visit. But then I rationalize and say, "oh, it's only 2X/yr...it's not so bad..." no experience with a health care professional should be like that! Their first priority when making an appointment is filling their book - never once are you asked "what time is good for you? or "is there a day/time you prefer?" a reminder call re: your appointment MUST BE RETURNED...what other healthcare professional does this?! (most will remind with a phone or text message...) the hygienists seem to enter and leave through a revolving door. I'm sure it can't be pleasant to work there. While she is competent, it sometimes seems she would rather berate than educate her patients. The "fill every open appointment" policy must be a top-down directive or it wouldn't have lasted this long. 2X/yr is 2X too many to be treated the way this office has decided it wants to treat its patients. (Jan, they're bringing you down!)
