I switched neurologist to Dr. Hitchcock b/c it was closer to home. His Nurse Lisa is wonderful. Scheduling is horrible. D/t a funeral I missed an appt in May, well I didn't get rescheduled till Feb and I called on July 10. When I call with problems d/t seizures he blows me off. Like someone wants this condition it ruins your life. I suggest use a different neuro.

Dr. Hitchcock is great. Brilliant, thoughtful, and helpful.
Good luck getting a return call from his nurse--she's too busy to be bothered with patient care.

Thrown by horse and caused memory problems, headaches & confusion. He was seeing me for these issues. Memory worsened & due to this I had missed 2 appts. I was sent a letter saying he'd no longer see me due to this & due to my problem I needed to get in with another neurologist ASAP. I called for a referral & they said they'd call me with one. This went on 6 months even with my husband calling them asking about why they've not called for referral & also asked for Dr. to call him which NEVER HAPPENED! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN MY OPINION!

as a few others have said. the staff is very unprofessional and seems as if they're in panic mode whenever i bring my wife in for appointments. the last two times my wife needed her recertification papers for fmla claims the papers were taken to the office by me and both times i saw the papers just sat on the desk mixed in with others. also both times my wife had to call and see why the papers hadn't been faxed to the insurance company. both times they had to go and find the papers after three weeks of me bringing them in. unprofessional staff. hitchcock himself i think is a fine doctor. just surrounded by the worse help he can find.

I am a breast cancer survivor, so needless to say I have been to more doctors than the average person. Dr. Hitchcock is by far the best doctor I have ever had the plesure of meeting. I have had a lot of problems from the chemo & Radiation that saved my life, within 30 minutes of meeting Dr. Hitchcock he explained why I have had the problems I have had for 5 years, I have 3 differant doctors for all these problems and not one of them could tell me what was wrong with me. Please go to Dr. Hitchcock, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Very nice doctor, easy to talk to. Was running behind for my first appointment but that happens from time to time. So far, extremely pleased with him

This doctor is personable, knowledgeable, and caring. As a patient of 5 years who has followed him through 2 practices and has a advanced rare neurological condition, I can also attest that this doctor will be honest with you about your options and the scope of his knowlege. He is also willing to work in tandem with other doctors on your case and research further options if that is required. His current facility is difficult to contact by phone (automated answering system) and his staff must be watched when dealing with communications to other facilities/ doctors. His nurse is friendly and will return calls with in 24 hours.

The worst experience of my life. Office staff was terrible unprofessional and the diagnosis given was refuted by 4 other specialists. Apparently the buyer must 'be ware' when selecting a specialist.
