Diagnosed with esophageal cancer, my odds of survival were less than 50%. Dr. Henteleff gave sage advice and options, and performed the six-hour surgery. To assuage the severe acid reflux issue after removal of most of the esophagus, he employed the "Ivor Lewis" technique which has well-nigh eliminated the problem by making it manageable as long as I sleep on my right side - thank heaven! He continued followup since the operation, arranging annual CT scans and appointments, and at one point personally conducting an exploratory upper endoscopy. At all times I had full confidence in him, certain that his care was exemplary. 6 years on, I am cancer free and grateful to him.

I have seen many doctors over the years and Dr. Henteleff is one of the kindest, friendliness doctors I have ever seen. He takes his time to explain things . He does rush through the appointment and he makes you feel like you can trust what he says and will truly do the best he can do to deal with whatever he is seeing you for. I couldn’t pronounce his name and he told me I could call Dr. Harry very personable.

I agree RUN nice bedside manner, pleasant. Time to retire, not a good surgeon, does not take time to find out why you have the issues you have only hopes what he does fixes it. Well new flash he does not and can not give you a reason why you have the issue or why it is worse. Find a surgeon willing to do their job fully!

I wish to God I had listened to the person who said “Run” from this guy. My husband was diagnosed with 1.3 cm Timor in his lung and died with no treatment from this Dr. He lived only 4 months
