I was referred to Dr Heed for surgery after being diagnosed with colo/rectal cancer in 2016. She was always upfront with me and compassionate. She did a wonderful job of surgery with another surgeon. I can’t say enough about how quickly all the necessary tests were arranged and how comprehensive her care was. I owe her my life. Thank you Dr Heed. -Doris

I have been waiting on a formal diagnosis for about 2 years now, much of this wait based on the time it takes to see a specialist.
I am concerned for the gastroscopy procedure I had in hospital.
I was told I would have a throat spray and light sedation, but be awake. I was prepared for this procedure and arrived at the 7 am time I was given for the 8 am procedure.
The department I went to did not open until 7:30 am. When I was taken to the procedure room, I was told what to do, given the throat spray, the device to bite on, and then WOKE UP an hour or so later, incredibly confused …. I was not just sedated, but put to sleep. I had no idea what was going on, my ride taking me home and no idea what to do when I got home. It was a terrible day as I felt that I was not given the proper information about what would happen to me.
I found some post-“op” info in my backpack the next day and have no idea how it got there - it was a terrible experience for me and although many people were involved in this, I feel I was sent home without proper care/attention and lost that whole day with pain I didn’t know I would have.

Dr. Heed was referred to me by medical professionals at Ridge Meadows Hospital when a malignant mass was discovered in my breast on a routine mammogram. I was able to schedule an appointment relatively quickly and she already had a surgery date made by my first appointment. She was professional, caring, and very comprehensive in sharing knowledge about what was ahead. I always received courteous treatment from her receptionist Sandy. My surgery and hospital stay were exceptional with no surprises . I was very well cared for throughout. I am now cancer free, after the successful surgery and five radiation treatments. I would highly recommend Dr. Heed.

The woman who runs the front desk is a rudest person I’ve ever met, every time I’ve ever tried to call this office I’m always blown away with how rude she is, it’s almost like you’re bothering her just trying to make an appointment, every time I speak with her on the phone she’s condescending and belittling. Maybe she needs to make an appointment to get her Hemmeroid checked because I don’t know why someone would be in such a bad mood allllll the time

I went to Ridge Meadows Hospital Emergency with severe abdominal pain. After a few hours testing and imaging Dr Heed came and told me she would need to take out my Gall Bladder because it was infected and blocked with a large stone.
They performed the surgery that night. I was so happy with the work of Dr Heed and her team at Ridge Meadows Hospital. My recovery went smoothly and had a follow-up appointment at her office. I called her office to book appointment and her receptionist was fine. I'm grateful that Dr Heed was the on call surgeon at RM Hospital.

The surgeon is great, however the receptionist is beyond rude and ignorant. She’s an old bat that needs to retire.

I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Heed and her receptionist Sandy. I have been seeing her for many years now and have always felt respected, listened to and at ease, I have recommended her to many others. Keep up the GREAT work ladies.
