Dr. Heed is very compassionate and when I was told she was going to do my procedure, I was so happy. She is the best.

I had a very good experience with both Dr. Heed and her Receptionist/Admin Assistant. My appointments and subsequent surgeries were prompt, smooth, and I had excellent follow up. I was very glad to have Dr. Heed and Sandy on my team.

If having someone look down on you and not give your concerns any real consideration is your goal then Dr. Heed is the doctor for you. Dr. Heed suggested my wife take primrose oil which has mixed scientific support at best and delivered that suggestion with a lack of any politeness. I would like to assume Dr. Heed had difficult issues going on in her life that I am not aware of but I still feel a professional should be able to provide a consult with a modicum of respect. I am very disappointed that this is what our medical system can offer in 2022.

Dr Heeds receptionist is extremely rude and argumentative on the phone! She does not even deserve 1 star for the staff rating! This is not a lady that should be your first point of contact when dealing with Dr Heed.

I first met Dr. Heed about 2008 when I ended up at R.M.H Emergency with internal bleeding. She took care of me there & was kind & very professional. I was admitted for 5 days where she arranged & performed several tests.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with cancer (unrelated to my previous health issue) She performed the surgery to remove several tumors. I have been cancer free since. Over the past 10 years have had a couple of colonoscopies done by her & have been completely fine afterwards. I recently required another surgery also performed by Dr. Heed. Again she was kind & professional. I recovered well from that also!
My communication with Dr. Heed & her receptionist, Sandy have always been very good. No complaints at all!
Thank you so much Dr. Heed for all you have done for me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The reception is very rude and short on the phone. I asked if she got my requisition from Dr. Her reply was who are you I told her with no hesitate or looking she said yes this requisition was send months ago like she remembered my name.

Called and asked a week later told her my name and said out of curiosity how long it take to see her, she told me 4-6 months I said great thank you. My dr called me the next day I have an appointment for you it's in 2 months great now if reception actually looked my name up the first time she would have known that I actually had an appointment that was booked back in July.

I feel incredibly grateful to have had Dr Heed as my surgeon for a perforated colon and subsequent colostomy reversal operation.. Dr Heed is extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and provided excellent after surgery care. I would not hesitate recommending Dr Heed. Charles Chatterton
