Terrible doctor. Condescending, always passes the buck... "I'm not a fill-in-the-blank specialist". Once I was asking if I could get more anxiety meds temporarily (major life event was happening), he told me he couldn't prescribe more than one than 30 days at a time or he would get a 'nasty letter' from the Medical Association. I still thought we were having a conversation and I said every patient should be treated on a case by case basis. I continued, saying it was horrible because putting restrictions on doctors and sending them 'nasty letters' doesn't allow them to treat patients as individuals. In a heartbeat he turned on me, furious and said he could lose his license. I immediately said that I would never want to put him in that position. I just left, confused. I should have pointed out that he always prescribed my mother a year's worth of the same medication.

If I could give 0 stars I would….this little peon needs a serious assskicking. I thought I was getting punk’d when this guy walked in and immediately began belittling me. I felt so vulnerable already being as sick as I was I still can’t believe I was treated that way. He was gaslighting me to the point of discharged against medical advice. I hope this guy meets his match one day, and I mean like a dark alley kinda match!

Worst experiemce ever with a doctor. Extremely rude and condensending. I have never felt so belittled in my life. I brought my grandmother there who has experienced rapid cognitive decline and was told to go to the doctor for a referral to a neurological clinic that specializes in cognitive decline and impairments. He said he had no idea what I was trying to do. He laughed in my face repeatedly and offered zero help to me. I also asked for a referral to get a PADI done in which he said a hoem nurse should be doing that amd again laughed in my face and pretty much called me stupid. Caring for someone with dementia especially that happens overnight is extremely tasking and stressful and people do not need doctors like this. I would not send a dead rat to him and honestly if I was dying and sent to ER and he was the only doctor on staff I'd pull the plug myself. I am telling you go anywhere but to him. Read the reviews. Obviously this is not an isolated situation. I will however say the staff at the front desk at Smyth clinic are always amazing!

Attentive, knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. I’d struggle with seeing anyone different.

Since Saturday I’ve been having Templar pains (felt like I was hit with a baseball) come Sunday the pain area had tripled in size and it was sore to the touch, come Monday, the pain had moved into my lower jaw.

I tried getting into Wetaskiwin ER Sunday night to no avail, Monday I went to my dentist thinking it was something to do with my teeth, he confirmed it wasn’t my teeth, and forwarded me on to a walk in. The child doctor there told me it was a migraine and prescribed to take Tylenol and Advil. And if the pain persists go to the ER.

Fast forward to today (Tuesday) I end up leaving work early to go to emerg in leduc, I was in so much pain I was in tears.

This is where I came into contact with Dr. Yue.

I over heard him with the ladies who were in the next room, she explained she had fainted 10 times in the last 3 days, along with other systems, he told maybe she should stop taking the migraine meds she’s been on since she was 14, but couldn’t subscribe a replacement because “he’s not a neurologist” then it was my turn, I gave him all my symptoms over the last 4 days, he’s there’s nothing wrong with me he could run tests but that wouldn’t tell him what’s wrong, he asked what the dentist told me, I said “ my dentist thinks it’s an infection”.

He said “an infection where”?
LIKE REALLY!!!

He then says “come back when my neck is swollen”!!!!

I have better than 20/20 vision since my lasik 5 weeks ago and the sign on the wall 5’ away was blurry, and I told him that.

He’s like “that means nothing to me, I’m not an eye doctor”.

Again.... REALLY, BUDDY YOU NEED A DIFFERENT CAREER.

To top it off a “hospital worker” came in and wanted to know what he said, then APOLOGIZED for his behavior (like they knew what he had said) and asked me if I wanted a card for the complaint line!

If that doesn’t tell you there’s a problem with him, I don’t know what will.

By far the worst dr I have ever seen. All he says is I don’t know and is condescending, rude and thinks he is so amazing. But literally can not give you an answer to anything.

Dr Yue is absolutely the WORST Dr. I have ever met in my 53 yrs of life. I went to the ER in Leduc because of a severe pain in my back. It hurt to sit, lay down, or stand. I could not get comfortable and could not sleep. It felt like someone was stabbing me in the back. Dr Yue diagnosed me with Pnuemonia, wrote me a prescription and sent me home. 2 days later it got worse so I went back to the ER. I saw Dr. LOWE and explained why Dr. Yue did. Dr. Lowe said it's not pnuemonia and sent me for stays and a CT scan. Fever of 104 and severe pain in back. He couldn't see anything on stays but said there was something on my spinal column so he sent me for an MRI. In the mean time I'm hooked up to an antibiotic drip to get control of this infection. MRI results came back and I have an abcess on my spinal column. It took 8 weeks on antibiotic to cure me. If I had not seen Dr. Lowe for a second opinion I could have died. A friend lost his dad because an abcess ruptured.
Long story short.........DONT SEE DR. YUE. HE IS NOT A GOOD DR. any body but Dr. YUE.

Dr. Yue has been my doctor for over 15 years. He is often late because he likes to explain to people exactly the problem. He is blunt and some people don't appreciate that but maybe they need some bluntness. He will also tell you costs of tests ect because you may not pay out of pocket in Canada it is still costly for just random tests because you want them.
He is also very funny if you understand his humour. What I like the most is he NEVER pushes pills. When I went through a hard time with depression he suggested talking to someone before we jumped to medication....and he was right.
If you want to be baby'd I would suggest someone else.
