Dr. David's lack of empathy and just seeing his patients as another number clearly affects the quality of his work and skills. I would get a second opinion before having surgery with this surgeon.

3.5 hours of testing and he was able to diagnose my dizziness and imbalance as BPPV as well as hearing damage and tinnitus , was a workplace injury from almost 1 year prior. Felt better just knowing what was making me nauseous, dizzy and unbalanced.. thanks Dr David !! No thanks to WSBC

The best doctor ever. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient. He immediately helped me with my concerns and was able to make a quick diagnosis. I enjoy visiting his office and the warmness of his staff eases my fears.

I would be cautious with this surgeon and would put more emphasis on the negative reviews than the positive reviews. His lack of empathy towards his patients affect his work and his receptionist is very unprofessional. Be very cautious if you are referred to him and perhaps get a second opinion from another specialist.

Saw numerous ents. He was the only one to properly diagnose my issue fully by operating on two areas. Recovery is still happening but so far has been as great as can be , mostly likely due to his surgical abilities and care when operating.

His receptionist Lionel made sure everything was scheduled efficiently and was very helpful with all my questions

10/10 service!

He was 15 minutes late for my appointment. This Dr was basically dismissive and unhelpful throughout. Hadn’t even looked at my notes until I arrived. I had to explain my symptoms. He noted my hearing was ok, which I had had done at a hearing clinic. My continuing symptoms of blocked middle ears, sinus, but no pain thank goodness, tinnitus and crinkly sounds from my ears all the time. When I explained I was not like this until taking three flights back in March whilst suffering from a horrible cold, he said it was ‘normal’ symptoms and maybe pollen related. I don’t have hay fever. He said to take antihistamines and nasal spray. Said I had tried that along with Sinutab for 5 weeks. No effect. He did then look at my sinus but said he could see nothing untoward. He gave me a typed piece of paper with two products he recommended. One was the nasal spray the other I asked what it was. Steroid spray. I mentioned I had already been prescribed steroid nasal spray which caused me to have nosebleeds. He dismissively said then spray it up on the left hand side of your nose. No point in talking to this Dr anymore. Left feeling very dejected and frustrated. I still have my symptoms and have nowhere to go from here other than deal with them it seems.

Horrible experience with Dr. David. Extremely rude, arrogant and dismissive. Told me my awful vertigo and tinnitus was psychosomatic. Strange. Most people don’t want to pay for a babysitter to sit in a doctors office for an hour with phantom symptoms after falling off an elliptical so dizzy could not even stand. Went to another ENT in North Van who immediately diagnosed me with BPPV. Vertigo and crystals dissipated after 2 years with help and treatment from someone who chose to listen. Maybe a bad day but kind of an unforgivable diagnosis.
