Dr. Polowy saved my life. As a S4 cancer patient with limited options I found Dr. Polowy and together with him and his staff and his overall caring of my issues he didn’t disregard my condition and looked for ways to better serve me in my cancer journey. He gave me his home number and I was able to call him anytime I felt like it. His bedside manner is second to none and he’s a straight shooter when it comes to hard issues. He has been my cancer doctor since 2011 and I credit him and his tenacity to make me better as the reason I’m still here today thank you Dr. Polowy you are a lifesaver.

Dr. Polowy is a knowledgeable physician. The wait time is unreasonable. His staff is rude.

When I walked into this man's office I was scared and confused and desperate to have my symptoms validated and understood. In the 15 months I have been under his care he has provided me with answers, hope, and health. Some days I would cry and get frustrated and others we would laugh, but he always took his time even if he ran behind because of it. Just know if he's not on time to see you it's because someone had 400 questions and he patiently answered them. And he will do the same for you. His patients are his family, and truly, I owe this man and his practice more than a thank you, more than an "I appreciate you", more than words. Truly he is THE BEST oncologist and person in general you could ever hope to find.

Wow! What can I say about a Dr who has become a true friend to me! He cares, he answers all my questions, he helps me have input into my treatment! Have worked with him now for 2 years and he makes every effort to stay on top of my cancer and my treatment! Each time we meet, he never rushes, always listens intently to my symptoms, concerns and fears! Can't thank him enough for going above and beyond!

If strict punctuality is important to you this not the MD. to see. If you want competence;compassionate care, input into your treatment, your questions answered this is the MAN. I don't get excited about my appointment being late. This doctor will take the time to explain the situation, answer your questions, get on the phone and call a colleague while you there. I have had him spend an hour+ with me dealing with my questions and concerns. When he is running late I figure he was giving some patient the same superb service he has given me. If you want assembly line medicine go elsewhere.

This was the second time my wife and I visited Dr. Polowy. The appointment was scheduled for 10:30AM on Thursday, September 24th. We showed up at 10:20AM. We went to the front desk, signed in, the receptionist asked for the insurance card and $35 deducible. After she ran the credit card, she said, “Oh, just to let you know, Dr. Polowy is running about two hours late.” She said, “If you can’t wait, we can reschedule for tomorrow.” Two hours late? I asked why didn’t you call me? Why do I have to make an appointment then? I called another oncologist. We saw him the next day. No excuses, no two hour wait, no problems. I read about this issue at his office on several other reviews on the internet. I thought they were just disgruntled patients. They were correct.

It is difficult to be critical. I was not a patient, but I went through every step of the journey my mother experienced. I feel she received the best care we could have hoped for with Dr. Polowy. It was an extra comfort to her when he provided her with his cell phone number, which proved to be vital in a few emergencies she experienced. Dr. Polowy definitely goes the extra mile.

Dr. Polowy is smart, he reads and stays informed. He is open to being questioned and challenged. Allowed me to make decisions regarding my treatment. Answered my long lists of questions. Helped me protest insurance denials successfully. My husband who doesn't like doctors in general thinks the world of him. Dr. Polowy is truly kind and sensitive to your needs. Getting chemo in the Doc's office was pleasant - looked forward to going. He asked me about my goals, and worked with me to achieve them. I was staged 3C w/IBC. Now cancer free.
