I was a patient of Dr. Henkin for 3 years 2006-2009. I have postviral hyposmia/hypogeusia. I visited him 3 times in those 3 years. The visits cost $2500, $1600, and $700, respectively. It is worth it. On my first visit, which was 6 months after my URTI, he treated me with trans cranial magnetic stimulation. I experienced immediate improvement (I would say about 20% improvement) Once home, I had many telephone appointments with Dr. Henkin over the next 3 years. He kept me on small doses of Mellaril and Orap, which did nothing. At one year and two years after my initial visit, I visited him in DC. He treated me again with TCMS, which did nothing. It's highly likely that you'll get small improvement (10-20% improve.) and highly unlikely that you'll get large improvement (80-100%). Despite my less than stellar outcome (I am thankful for my 20% improvement), I highly recommend Dr. Henkin. He is THE leading expert in the world today. He is the only game in town. You might get lucky.
