Dr Midkiff is the best. I have been a patient for 4 years, of which, she has delivered my two children. I would recommend her to anyone!

I had a negative experience with this OB delivering my youngest child in 2013. My incision came open, I formed a large and painful hematoma and was discharged like that. My concerns were ignored when I called the office in the week after I left the hospital. I finally had to find another OB at a different hospital to deal with these post c-section problems after repeatedly being blown off by this doctor. My incision healed horribly and nobody ever followed up with me except the billing department. Patients deserve better than this.

I went for my yearly exam 2 yrs ago, only to find out that I was no longer a patient, since Dr Midkiff was no longer accepting my insurance! Where was a courtesy call informing me? I sat in the waiting room waiting for my appt... At what point was someone going to inform me?? I had made my appt the YEAR before, I was NOT a new patient!! Dr Midkiff needs to step it up a little!! Theres no customer courtesy!

Dr. Midkiff's staff is horrible. The receptionist is rude. If you leave a message for a nurse to call you back. The message says they will call you back the same day. On multiple occasions calls were returned 2 days later. I was informed about abnormal tests results, on 3 occasions, 1-2 weeks after they were done. The final straw was when 2 doctors told me that for the health of the baby I needed to switch to a high risk doctor and have weekly monitoring. Dr. Midkiff opposed this. Not because it was best for me and the baby but it was best for her financial bottom line. Pregnancy is one of the most important things a woman can do in her life. Doctors should put the baby and mom first at all times.

she was very helpful with menopause issues I was having, identified some other medical problems (hypothyroidism) that may become apparent during menopause. But the main thing, she stopped the awful bleeding! Love her for that. Literally changed my life.

The woman who answers the phone,"Leez" is so snarky & rude,it's shameful.I've called the office several times on my daughter's behalf & "Leez" is always the same:Unfriendly, unenthusiastic, hissing & sighing in the phone.Dr. Midkiff is an endearing, friendly, and professional person;loved her bedside manner! She deserves support staff who care about her patients the way she does. As a result of being hissed at one time too many, I'm taking my daughter back to Dr. Chadwick (we left was because of the UHC/Memorial dispute)my 1st response was to stay w/Dr. Midkiff because she was so wonderful. I pray to God the Ofc Mgr & Drs discover "Leez" bad behavior & hire someone who is friendly & professional.THE PATIENTS ARE THE REASON YOU ARE THERE "LEEZ"!You are a rude, unprofessional, unGodly woman "Leez" & everything you do in the dark will come to light. One day, they will find you out. Then, maybe someone who needs a job will come and provide Dr. Midkiff with the support she deserves!
