I would recommend Jason to anyone who may be looking for an experienced, competent, compassionate, understanding, and accommodating Therapist. Initially, I found Jason after interviewing four (4) other Psychologists in the Halifax area. At the time, I was frustrated with the lack of interest that existed with those I interviewed. Finally, when I met Jason, his engaging and caring way gave me hope. Now in my 6th year of periodic therapy, I have been able to make exceptional transformations in my life, and in essence, enjoy living life more fully and ultimately, make the world a better place. As part of the package, Jason is always available through text or email. His guidance and ability to help me find what I needed to find within myself is worth far more than what money can buy. I would not hesitate to recommend Jason to those dear to me.

My experience with Roth was negative. He checked to see if the cat was fed, he made a phone call to a nurse, later he got to me..........I was very disappointed and depressed following my visit. HE simply told me at the end it would take a long time to iron out my situation..........I was mostly seeking relationship advice. That was now 20 years ago.........I turned out alright afterall......even after this negative encounter.

Nine years ago I engaged the services of Jason Roth to conduct in depth evaluations of candidates for positions of leadership. I worked with Jason with many applicants over the course of more than three years. The evaluations were based on an interview process and a battery of objective and projective psychological testing. Jason was a pleasure to work with and he approached this work with great enthusiasm and integrity. From the vantage point of time, I am able to say that all of his evaluations were accurate, insightful and very helpful. I have no reservations about recommending Jason as we were delighted with his work without qualification.

Jason was very focused, knowledgeable, empathetic and supportive. He was available for emergency consultation and assistance even while away on vacation! Throughout the therapeutic process he always encouraged me to be independent, strong and courageous. He offered much insight and wisdom in dealing with various areas of relationships. I'm thankful that he was my therapist. He was there for me during a very challenging time in my life.

Jason Roth is an extraordinary psychologist. In response to an unforeseen trauma several years ago, my emotional health became a concern. I was nearing hopelessness, and struggling to perform basic daily living tasks. From our first meeting, it was evident that Jason was very caring, intelligent, and competent. These qualities translated into much needed hope for me. Jason’s approaches in counseling might be described as compassionate, patient, sensitive, direct, responsive, empowering, provoking, and holistic. It grieves me to read anything negative about Jason Roth. I have never written anything on such a website and just happened across this one. I felt that anything I could do to encourage anyone needing the type of help Mr. Roth gives is my duty after what he has done for me. He is an excellent counselor and assistant to discovering how to help yourself. He does not SLEEP during sessions, as I have seen him close his eyes in an attempt to pay close attention to your words. He does not waste words and always gives solid examples of how others have dealt with issues, passing on their strength to you. Please ignore any negative comments about Jason Roth and go with a sure heart that someone cares very much for you and your well-being.

I am so grateful to have received counselling from Jason Roth, a true gentleman and professional who changed my life immeasurably and fundamentally. How? By giving me the ways and means to gain insight into my own character when I was lost, a gift of self-reflection that made me confident I could do the hard work needed to change-now and in the future. Jason is a teacher and his lessons are life long. He shares stories so that you might discover the lessons and he is not afraid to challenge you when you want to cling to old myths about yourself. And all these techniques reflect his rich understanding that the ability to know thyself in a deep lasting way is not quick, easy and painless, but a process he guides you through with compassion and intelligence. On nights where I've laid awake, angst ridden and wondering why I was ever born, I was strengthened by the knowledge that there were people like Jason in the world. Jason has been a miracle doctor with a staff who are like family, who welcome you on arrival & make sure you are comfortable. For someone who really needs help, Jason is the answer. He goes far beyond that which people normally consider adequate. He is a teacher and encourager, who can help you cope with a severely damaged mind. He prepares you to keep working toward resolution after you leave his office. After one hr with him, you are on your own again but with renewed confidence. He doesn't forget you when you leave & you leave better prepared to face the future knowing that he is there for you when you need him. He insists on honesty & integrity between himself & his patients & will not sacrifice those qualities in himself simply to acquire a new patient. Having been treated by Jason who has really done wonders for me, I am sure I would not be able to find anyone comparable to him in his ability to deal with me.

I met Jason when I was a jobless, drug-addicted mess. Over five years, tolerating the innumerable ways in which I tested his loyalty and trust, Jason's patient guidance has been a bridge from that hopeless state to my life today: I've graduated university with an honor's degree (and am going back for more!), I'm married to a woman who is truly a peer and friend, and I'm travelling the globe, volunteering and helping people who need what I've learned more than I do. Jason (I cannot think of him as "Mr.Roth") will challenge you in ways you don't want, but then, if you wanted those challenges, would you really need help with them? Above is written "he sleeps through our sessions"; no, he turns his eyes off and devotes his entire mind to listening—- mediation, on YOUR concerns. Jason lives his ethos, and his comittment to conscience and holistic well-being have not merely changed but saved my life. Jason lives to help others thrive; therapy is but one of the many avenues for his giving.
