I have a patient since 1998 . She is compassionate and listens to you attentively. She is always punctual and the office staff is excellent

Dr. Sjodin use to be great but that is no longer the case. Over the last couple years, she has really gown down hill in more ways than one.

Here is my biggest disappointments in her lately:

1) Dr. Sjodin is always rushed. I barely have time to explain my symptoms before she is rushing me out the door and rushing in to see another patient.

2) On two visits, she actually gave me the results of my blood work in the hallway with other people listening. This is a huge privacy issue and I was not happy. Keep in in the exam room and tell me privately my results.

3) I am a diabetic. One visit I went in because I needed a new prescription for my diabetic medication. Dr. Sjodin slapped her hand down on the desk and said "do you really need a prescription for this?". Well doc, yes, it is to control my sugar lever being diabetic, so yes I do need it.

4) I went into see Dr. Sjodin because I have a mole on my back and it had become really sore when I shower, so I wanted a referral to a dermatologist. Her response was "I am the doctor here, I decide what you need."

5) ladies on the reception desk are not reliable. I called once to book an appointment. I was put on hold and waited 15 minutes - just to book an appointment.

Dr. Sjodin never use to be like this, not sure why the change. Needless to say I have found a new family doctor who cares about me and my health.

an amazing doctor. I highly recommend her to anyone. Her staff is also very good.
Wait times are very short , have never waited more then 10 minutes, unlike my last doctor whose wait times were always at least 2 hours and then made you feel that you should be grateful to be in his office and to be seen by him.
Dr. Sjodin is compassionate, caring and always make you feel comfortable and makes you feel that you are most important person there.
Wonderful doctor and human being.

Dr. Sjodin - I LOVE HER! I’ve never been comfortable with any Doctor as it felt intimidating to me to be open and honest. I just moved to Markham and started going to her. She is so amazing, feels like family - I can be honest with her and I don’t feel judged. I like her style of treatment, you can tell that she is very good at what she does and a great healer. I give her and her team five stars+++

I have been going to Dr. Sjodin for a few years since my family doctor for 35yrs became ill. She has been most patient and understanding as well as very professional. I like the fact that when I arrive for my appointment the staff is welcoming and my wait time is usually kept to a minimum. I'm extremely comfortable seeing anyone in the office in the absence of Dr. Sjodin including the after hours clinic. I give them a 5 star rating.

Dr Sjodin is like a mother to me and my family. We all go to her for all our medical needs. If she can't help us personally (which is rare) she always knows someone who can. She does everything she can to make sure that we are seen and treated as soon as possible. Every time I have needed care she has squeezed me in to her schedule. Sometimes she is behind but it's because she squeezing people in for emergencies is her standard of practice so I don't mind. On top of all that she's fascinating. She loves animals (one time I met a kangaroo!) and is a beekeeper. She always has amazing stories.

Dr. Sjodin is our family doctor for my wife, my three kids and myself. She is also the family doctor for my brother-in-law's family (also with three kids). She is an amazing doctor and has helped me through some tough times. She is very realistic about things and down to earth. My kids love her. I have not had an issue with the staff either. The best thing about Dr. Sjodin is that she is always on time. She realizes that everyone's time is just as important as hers.

Dr Sjodin has been my family doctor for 15+ years. She has helped me get through some extremely rough times in my life. I will forever be greatful for her.
She is always considerate of your time and never makes you feel rushed during your appointment. She is honest and funny and always welcoming. The best doctor I've ever seen.

I have been seeing Dr S for about 20 years. She gives great service and is genuinely a good, caring person. My visits with her are like seeing an old friend (who tells you to loose weight and exercise). She breaks bad news gently and celebrates good news with joy. She will take a few minutes to talk about my family or hers, and how life is in general. She never shows how much she knows, just gives me want I need to know in simple terms. However,she is always able to give a more in depth explanation if I ask. She is a special doctor who I have recommended on several occasions.
