Dr. Thornton did my wife's reconstructive surgery when she had breast cancer. One of her implants got infected not very long after the surgery. He kept insisting it was fine. She ended up going in and out of the hospital for a couple of months with an infection that nearly killed her because Thornton wouldn't accept that one of his surgeries was causing this. She almost died because of this but thankfully another doctor in the hospital stepped in and got an infectious diseases doctor involved who took one look at her and said her implant needed to come out. After it came out she was fine in a few days and never had any more problems. The cancer and all its treatments itself wasn't that bad for her but the infection (which can happen with any Dr) nearly killed her because of his inaction.

Dr. Thornton has guided me through 3 difficult years of breast reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy. I never would have survived these years without Dr. Thornton's wisdom, skills, and kindness.He makes me feel safe and optimistic. He simply is the best.
