I am seeing Dr. Thornton for reconstructive surgery after a bilateral mastectomy. He is a very compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough doctor. I did my research before I chose him and met with him to make my final decision. While everyone may not be satisfied with their results, I must say I couldn't ask for anything more from this doctor. He is a terrific human being who is compassionate and absolutely great at what he does. I am very thankful I chose him to be a part of my team! Thanks Dr. Thornton:-)

Physician has a scary past...sanctions in two states because of sexual misconduct with a patient- specifically he exposed his genitalia to a cancer patient of his.

It's frightening that patients overlook a physician's behavior with a former patient by blaming the patient or explaining away how this physician exposed himself by calling the patient crazy. Sad and pathetic.

Dr. Thorton and his staff have always treated me with kindness and compassion during my breast reconstruction. I have never known him to be arrogant or dismissive. On the contrary, I feel that my many questions and concerns are always addressed completely and respectfully and I have complete confidence in his knowledge and skill. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Thorton and his team on my side.

I was referred to Dr Thornton from another breast cancer pt after I had a horrible experience with another plastic surgeon in town. Dr Thornton had no problem correcting the terrible job done by another and was so compassionate and caring throughout my ordeal. Amazing doctor and amazing human being.

The most compassionate Dr. Ever! I have experienced nothing but professionalism from this doctor and his staff. I have seen no arrogance AT ALL. Makes me feel like I am his only patient, very genuine. I know I am paying for his services, but you can't buy his knowledge and compassionate demeanor. It is who he is. As far as hearing of the grievances against him. Remember, there are some crazy people out there. Why would you continue to see a doctor over the course of several years, then decide to file a grievance. It is my opinion that the actions were consensual, until maybe, just maybe Dr Thornton wanted to end it. Can we say Fatal Attraction!! It sure didn't stop me from choosing him as my doctor! He is simply the best!!

Pompous & errogant. Talks forever, can't ask Qs. Lasted over an hour. Wanted to use me as a test experiment with some new fat replacement idea. Told me there would be no consultation fee (paperwork stated 50.00) yet billed 282.00. When questioned, he said he didn't recall saying that. Found out he has 1court and 3 board sanctions afterwards. Nurse supposed to stay in room but she left twice for 10 minutes or so. At the time just thought she was bored, didn't know it was breaking sanction.

It concerns me that his professional sanctions for sexual exposure with a patient have been largely ignored by the public.

Arrogant and condescending. Dismissive during follow-up visits. Talks too much without answering the question that was asked.

A little nervous about reading the review of the person who had breast implants put in after going thru cancer treatments and to see he wouldn't consider it was his surgery of the infected implant that caused it in the best interest of his patient. As I need the same thing done and now am apprehensive of his after care and acknowledgement of his infected implant. I want to be 100 percent sure of a sterile environment especially after the ordeal I already have been thru with chemo and the fast recovery time needed to do radiation and to know I 'm with a doctor who cares.
