I was in Hospital back in 2008 with an obstruction due to complications from crohns disease. I have severe pain on a daily basis from Arthritis in my spine (Ankylosing spondolyitis)and crohns disease. He read in my chart that I was on narcotics for pain management, and because of that he treated me with no respect and judged me completely as a drug addict who didn't even deserve to live! When I asked him why he was being so mean to me, he replied; "because you are on narcotics". I was so shocked that a Doctor could treat a patient like this. He judged me simply by his own belief against narcotics, and didnt even want to hear anything when I tried to "defend" myself. He discharged me from the hospital without any pain medications and told me that if I want my "drugs" I would have to go to a clinic like all the other "druggies" to get my pain meds. The clinic was outraged as the narcotic I was on is not one you should stop suddenly. If you are on narcotics for pain Stay away! BAD DR.

Dr Papp performed minor surgery to relieve a constricted oesophagus. He provided a prompt diagnosis of an "asthmatic oesophagus" and discussed options with me. He shows a very good level of patient care and communication. A very good MD!

Took a while to build a relationship with this doctor, now I have great respect for him.

Dr.Papp can't say anuff good things I'v had chrones for over 26 years many docs later this is tha man spends the time to go over everything so u understand will try everything to provent surgry vary personable only looks out for your best interests open to ideas he helps u whan u need it and lookes down the road to pervant things from getting worse the most important thing was a kind hart whan bad news was there whan my eye's waterd so did he's that's a man whos looking out for u and not his rep u know he is good if there is somthing there he's not of great noldage he will say so and refur u to somone who is better he doesn't pull any stops for your health just remeber thers only few GI's left patiants is a must ant the sucretary should be given a plack she allways swomt but still finds time for u and if your in bad shape somhow she get's the bookings u need like yesterday rating ten out of ten thank papp u made my life worth living

Jamie is a very intelligent doctor with a strong perception of what is ailing his patients. His office was very accommodating when my need to book an appointment became critical and requiring immediate attention. No major complaints.

Saw my husband on an urgent basis, did more than the one test to prevent further wait time, ordered other tests, was very gentle with the colonoscopy and gastroscopy, respectful, and took the time to explain everything. We felt really fortunate!

Dr. Papp is a great doctor who knows his information. Gives you choices of treatment instead of just doing soimething. Spends as much time with you as you need.

An excellent Gastro - he's spent a significant amount of time explaining my condition and answering all my questions. I've never felt rushed or not important.
