I suffered for years with a very bad back. Could only walk 30 meters & had to sit down. Had surgery in April this year and now in August it is a treat to be able to get out and walk. Great job. Good communications.

Total Orthopedic Spinal Hack Surgeon. Terrible doctor, do not let this guy touch you. I live with Chronic pain after he did a T-12toL-2 fusion. I fell of a rafter landing on my flat on my back and they did not even order a MRI. I waited over a year to see him again and he refused to see me and wrote one line on a pge as a report, that said surgery would not help. All he would give me for pain was Tylenol 3. If this guy wants to operate on you, check out of that hospital and go to another. I am permanently screwed for life. Terrible doctor. I believe he is indebted to the WCB Alberta and is working as one of their hack doctors. Run, if you hear his name.

I had a L4-L5 L5-S1 disectomy (surgery #1) from Dr. Jiang, seemed to work okay, for 7 months, then the pain came back, then had a fusion, with disectomy up to L3, Pain never went away, 3 years later, had an extreme pain attack, my left leg is completely numb, no feeling, with a foot drop, I now walk with a Cain, live in pain every day, and take narcotics. I am an Engineer that works full time, I do not want the narcotics, they inhibit my ability to do my job, but without them I would not be able to work at all. Now I am being referred to another surgeon for a possible 3rd surgery... NOT by DR. JIANG, over my dead body.

I have had issues since I was 15. Finally this doctor gave me hope to possibly eventually be pain free. He was knowledeable...explained everything to me. He was very polite and very caring. I spent so many years in so much pain and he is the only one who took notice to my file. I finally feel as though I've been listened too! I will need 2 surgeries and that is a very scary thought but he know what he is doing. He dedicated his life to heping people and I have nothing bad to say about this dr. He was having a busy day, he had alot of patients, sure he was late, but he took his time to see me as soon as he could and he gave me HOPE!

I had had a previous disectomy by a neurosurgeon on my back at l5 s1 and had some residual pain on my right side for about 10 years. Then I was struck by severe back pain which left me even unable to move . I was referrred to dr. Jiang by wcb.I did not feel comfortable with the doctor because his english was poor.He said that 80 percent he could help me with the pain.I was told by wcb that either him or no one. After back surgery left with severe pain bylatterly.I have been suffering for 2 years now and no other doctor will touch me here!Mri shows same problem before and after with metal filings at site.Jiang says no way its not there its in your head. Please donot let this man touch you !

I lived with pain in my back for 20 years and Dr. J looked after me. That was 2 years ago and I've been pain free ever since Thank you so much. No one knows how much this means to be pain free if you have never had a sore back. The wait is well worth it.

Dr. Jiang is a very good surgeon. He spent lots of time explaining the procedure of L5-s1 fusion that I needed. The operation was necessary and was very sucessful. He has allowed me to continue to have a very active life. He has a great bedside manner.

i had a back problin from work wcb set up with jaing.went to wcb in leduc he was over 2 hours late seeing me.checked me oversaid i have a back problem wow i didnt now that on my own he did frist operate discectome sent me back to work after 5 week i am gmc teck my back failed went back to see docter and was told i need a l4 l5 fuson had that operate woke up after and my right leg was ok but my left was very sore and num was told it would go away 8 mouths after seen doctor was told left leg was all in my head he said he fixes backs not heads went to see new doctor found the prob rigt away doctor. Dr. J has poor bedside manner. I could overlook that if he generally cared about the patient--even without showing it. He is there only to dot he minimum and only treats one part of the body at a time with no attention to any other part. To him, you are a knee, a shoulder or whatever part is bothering you--detached from the rest of you. You need a new referral to have him look at another part

This man operated on my father. Punctured his spinal clolumn and refused to see him after he had been leaking CSF(cerebral spinal fluid) from his incision, for 3 days. We had to rush my Dad into emergency because he had tunnel vision and paralizing headaches. No other Dr. would touch him, beacause it wasn't their mistake! There was NO way to get ahold of Dr. Xing Jiang. After numerous pages and phone calls (my dad only continued to worsen) we finally contacted the Dr., who then had to re-operate as an emergency becasue my Father had lost so much CSF he was running a risk of becoming paralized(remember that he was ignoring my parents phone calls and questions about the leaking clear, and sticky fluid coming from my dad's incision) . My dad is still unable to function noramlly after his first "basic" surgery, and the second on to fix the Dr. mess-up.
