Factual inaccuracies, mischaracterizations in a psychological evaluation which is grounds for a potential lawsuit given the poor outcome that ensued with his referral. Lawyer will be reviewing this as it has greatly affected my ability to work and the traumatic experience.
My aunt went into ER after falling downstairs. She had a concussion and he sent her home even though she lives alone. She could not even walk as everything was spinning. If she even moved her head a little, she would vomit. I live 2 hrs away but came to her home since she was in the shape she was in. There was no attempt to contact daughter OR niece to gather collateral about her conditions at home. There were no referrals sent for her to have an in home assessment to see whether she could manage or needed help. The bare minimum CT scan was done. I am disgusted at the lack of regard for an elderly person living on their own. Totally irresponsible and neglectful. I took her back to ER the nxt day where I provided collateral. Referral were sent for OT assessment, physiotherapy and for a geriatric physician to follow up. Sadly the locum gave her the choice of whether she wanted to go home. Our healthcare system is pathetic. Whatever happened to the oath, “thou shalt not do any harm”. I guess money was made from the visit and that is all that mattered. Advocate for your family or they aren’t cared for by these doctors.
Most horrible, rude person ive ever met. Incompetent doctor and should retire asap. Have never ever heard or read one good thing about him. Such an incredibly rude individual.
Hi Dr Jordan I miss you Jordan. I am married to Ralph larochelle now. My new Blair Sneddon.
I’ve had two bad experiences with this Dr. He misdiagnosed my baby daughter’s condition and she ended up being flown to Sick Kids for emergency surgery, (after seeing another Dr). He also told my father who had weakness, wheezing and racing heart that he was fine and just getting old. When we saw another Dr two days later, he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure.
In 2017 I went up to Emerg. because I was having lower back pain on my left side. Dr. Jordan was on call and ordered a back xray .. he got the results and said nothing showed .. so he then did an ultrasound which showed I had a kidney stone . Now fast forward to October 16 2024 .. I was up at Emerg. again for lower back pain .. the Dr. on call ordered a back xray be done again because he said I had been up there before for back pain .. when he got the results he came in the room and went on to tell me that I had Scoliosis ( curvature of the spine ) , and said he had tried pulling up the xray from 2017 to see if anything had showed but was unable to do so .. I told him that Dr. Jordan didn't me anything about having Scoliosis and told me nothing showed . The Dr. told me to call the nurse in 2 days and have her pull up the xray from 2017 and read me the results . So on the Friday I called and spoke with the nurse .. and that Xray from 2017 definetely 100% showed that I had Scoliosis .. !! And because a**h*le didn't tell me anything I now have to start wearing a back brace to slow down the progression of the Scoliosis and will have to do physiotherapy .. but because we don't have any physiotherapists in the North that deals with Scoliosis I will have to go to Sudbury for it . With all the lawsuits and malpractice's that Dr. Jordan has against him I don't even know how the Kirkland Lake hospital lets him through their doors !!!!
It’s sad that women who are pregnant need to go out of town to have their baby. Dr Edward Jordan can’t deliver babies anymore due to infant dropped and died.
he need to do more work and less talk and move faster. He is rude and he think he a good doctor but he is not. he need to drop out of the medical work and retire
Dr. Jordan has no time to see his patients in his family practice. And they suffer because of this. I think it would be better if Dr. Jordan just retired from his family practice. Because if you have a family doctor, another doctor or nurse practitioner will not take you as a patient. My mother has had two inpatient stays and Dr. Jordan has no time to carry out any follow up recommendations.
Dr.Jordan was so patient with his long time patient, my mother, whose final illness wascancer. She kept avoiding her appointments with himself, the specialist visits his office arranged, and various necessary tests. She was not a model patient, by any means. Maybe he understood that she was trying to rebel at the disease in this way. I still think of him with gratitude at times, and how very good he was to my mother. He treated myself and other family members at the emerg, including resetting my broken finger there. No problems with his medical knowledge or treatment for those visits.
